Take it you read the Kiev manager talking about speaking with Ancelotti about Mykolenko....Course he did. Hope he still gets his commission.
Benitez owes Marcel a big thank you for doing all his leg work here.

Like it or not I think Benitez is a control freak. If he didn't want the lad we wouldn't have him.Take it you read the Kiev manager talking about speaking with Ancelotti about Mykolenko....

Finishing 10th is a cause for celebrations?
Jesus expectations really have dropped with our fans.
HahhahahaBrilliant post.
Its sad seeing usually semi respectable posters like Jakey, Windy etc attacking fellow Blues for not partaking in the abuse of everything from the manager to the owner.
He's here until minimum next Xmas - got to suck it up and get behind the club and hope the new signings can turn things around.

Benitez the master of deflection, it's never his fault. Fans are turning on each other over Digne and Benitez has managed to get some supporters back on side. Suddenly the results are forgotten about by some and Benitez is now getting praise ?
How can we say Brands was a 'disaster' when he had to operate with one hand tied. It wasn't Brands appointing the likes of Koeman or Silva or Carlo - they were the names Moshiri wanted. Brands didn't have full control over the transfers: there's plenty of talk about Moshiri and Kenwright meddling in that area, plus each manager also wanting/getting some of their own players.Brands was a disaster. Maybe a DoF was not going to work for us with a high volume turnover of managers - but that fella has to shoulder some blame.
Brands did what a good few of the players have done. Took the money and gave nothing back .How can we say Brands was a 'disaster' when he had to operate with one hand tied. I'm not saying Brands is blameless (far from it!), but even now, do we really know what his remit and duties were? Do we really know whom he did and didn't want? He seems to be a Director Of Football that either didn't or wasn't allowed to direct the football entirely. He may prove to be no great loss and we may not need a DOF, but I'm not sure we can call him a disaster when 3-4 years down the line, we still have question marks over who was responsible for what.
