Probably right but I think the decider for him will be Norwich away next week. Loses that and there is no coming back imo. I don’t see us getting anything against Leicester either.
He can’t hide behind injuries against leicester. They have a quarter of a squad left after injuries and AFCON. If he loses against Hull and Leicester he will be gone mate.

I just thought it was interesting the way a player who clearly doesn't wish to be here was defended by some and that Benitez said EXACTLY what we'd wanted to hear from an Everton manager for years but it was attacked in order to defend one of the cowards who've gone missing in games.

I think it clarified a few things.

?

Do you still believe in Santa? Sounds like you will swallow any b/s put ur way

Chorizo chops has cost us £5m with that performance, he made that press conference all about him……..

Always the victim!

play to the strengths of the players in the squad and we would be in a fa4 better positio!
He’s totally lost the plot. He was going on about other people’s egos. Pot, kettle. He doesn’t even see the irony.

By the sounds of it they have a bit of a crisis, players out injured Vardy, Evans, Daka, Soyuncu, Fofana, Pereira, Soumare, Benkovic, Bertrand and there are doubts over Castagne. The 4 players away at the AFCON, Daniel Amartey, Papy Mendy, Wilfred Ndidi, and Kelechi Iheanacho.

We couldn't be playing them at a better time.

If he can’t beat a team at the bottom of the championship and an injury hit Leicester he needs firing out of a cannon, let alone sacking.

Disagree with the sentiment though of firing him IF he loses those two. He’s either the right man for the job or he isn’t. He’s won 1 in 12 so clearly the owner wants to keep him unless given no other choice. He’s the only one who can see he isn’t the right man for the job. He should be fired now, regardless of results in the next 2.

I really dont understand what possible purpose it serves to publicize the Digne situation, and say he wants out, outside of pure ego. It does nothing for the club and just hurts the transfer stance, it seems it is just absolutely pure ego and putting that before the good of the club.
It stops the press asking him awkward questions like, ‘what exactly were you trying to do against Brighton?’ Or, do you think 6 points from the last 36 points possible is acceptable for an Everton manager? You know, the kind of questions proper journalists should be asking.

He is a master in the arts of deflection and deception.
