Well, he has won Spanish titles, European trophies (unfortunately) and domestic trophies in three different top European leagues.

I doubt he's going to be remembered for 1 win in 12 games at some point in his Everton career.

The high turnover of managers is the whole point of having a DOF. The position of DOF keeps continuity across the club and stops managers coming in and wanting the players to fit some system they favour, and then moving on and leaving the club with players that don’t suit the next manager. Under the DOF system, coaches are brought in who can work with the club’s style of play and players, when they move on another coach comes in who is happy to work within those parameters.

It’s just that our Iranian megalomaniac is not prepared to wind his neck in and appoint a new DOF and allow him to do his job without interference.

The DoF system may work in europe but doesn.t work over in England. Is there a British club where a DoF succeeds?

So his achievements 12/15+ years ago make him the right guy for EFC in 2022?!?...... QUICK! Somebody give Mourinho a call!

Interesting comparison. Most hanging judges being remembered for their vindictive and callous nature using their judgements as a means to compensate for their own incompetence, stubbornness and vice.
 
Is this Benitez saying we are playing 3 at the back, look at the hand.....
