Because we pay really fn well. We're paying Benitez, a manager who nobody wanted at all, 6m a year. That's why he would come. And it would make more sense to have a manager like HIM build the club from the ground up than Benitez who, again, not a single other club wanted.

If Benitez has been given assurances by the owner (we dont know whats been said in private) that he has a job for the long term then that might be why he's sticking with it knowing he'll be backed in the summer to bring another 2-3 in.

It'a a valid point tbf; Moshiri has already booted the DOF for him and is happy for him to boot out of the more popular players in Digne, so who knows what else he's assured him of. Could certainly explain why Rafael is refusing to adapt or make changes.
