I think it's a stretch to say Benitez has wrecked Everton. He's sold Digne and brought in Gray, Townsend and 2 full backs. In terms of playing style, we were the worst team in the league to watch last season. Other than the results, which again we had plenty of bad ones last season, I fail to see the difference, other than we concede first more, but we also recover after conceding, which we haven't done for years.
You do watch the game like, yeah?

That's exactly how Ferguson lasted as long as he did with the results he did. You can't treat Eric Cantona the same as Steve Bruce. You can't treat Roy Keane the same as David Beckham.
He didn't change the way he played, he just protected them in public and created a siege mentality. And as for Beckham, he treated him badly and sold him when he didn't want to leave.

You said it.

He's flushing us down the toilet.

I don't dispute that his tactics have been bizarre, and if you read my posts I'd be fine with us sacking him. However the fact remains the players are trying, and have recovered from Setbacks in quite a few games, which hasn't happened under previous managers.

There’s just simply no way this ever works, he’ll never be accepted and a club that’s constantly on the verge of civil war will never progress.

That’s before we even talk about what’s happening on the pitch, he’s not shown a single thing that points to any sort of future improvement or even just remedying the situation we’re in. He’ll never give us the football we want.

Yes I do. How many points did we recover from losing positions under the last 2 managers?
So where do you see us ending up this season, you honestly hand on heart say we concede first against better teams we are gonna recover and get the points needed to keep us away from that bottom 3.

As eye bleeding as it was under Carlo at times, its more so this season.

Please dont say you are using Hull as evidence of a comeback because, well HULL!

I don't think that's true. When we had a decent start most fans were ok. He's never going to be loved, but I can see a situation where we progress. The next few games are critical for him though.

I've seen us capitulate against worse teams than Hull. Bradford and Tranmere at home for a start! As for where we finish, that depends on whether he sorts out a formation that stops us getting overrun in midfield. If he can do that, top half, if not anywhere between 14th and 20th.

He’ll always be 2 or 3 poor results away from mayhem
Not if we have a style of play worked out. Say, for example our first 11 is Pickford, Patterson, Mykolenko, Branthwaite, Godfrey, Gray, Gordon, Allan, Doucoure, Richarlison and DCL, with a few promising youngsters on the bench. We win a few and lose a few, which is bound to happen with that many young players in the team. I think most fans would understand that we were playing the long game, as the Arsenal fans do.

Likewise fella, real eye bleeding stuff!

Its not showing currently that he has that ability tho, so worst case scenario, we get relegated by him, best is top half.

There will be nothing as eye bleedingly bad as seeing us getting relegated, no matter how many Shrewsbury's, Brightons, Wigans etc etc you throw in that mix, nothing and if its him that does it, we will never recover from it!

I cant see this happen, and for that reason he has to fall on his sword NOW
