My heart really wants him gone as soon as possible but my head says we really should give RB some time as he's been dealt a crappy hand ( I'm sure his bank account wouldn't agree ) and he should be judged as such .
Trust me , I hate myself for saying this .
If he finishes about 10th he will stay .

I think it's spot on, tbh.

These are diffferent times and circumstances. There's a need to just consolidate at mid-table / top half while the finances remain tight and the stadium build is looming.

The only way Benitez doesn't see out his contract is if he has had enough of the situation at Everton.

He holds all the cards.

everybody knows what Moshiri is like though

if we are in 16th or so by october 2022, he's gone

i dont agree with that but i think it will happen

No money for that even if it did transpire.

The days of paying out £10M to one manager and giving another £10M as a signing on fee to another are over.

We have a good manager who'll get us results.

That's something to be relieved about now that the cash has disappeared.

We were like that Mike Carroll the scruff who won the lottery and spent it all in about 3 moths

listen i like Benitez so far, i like how he has us playing and i like how we seem to actually have fit team for the first time in years

but i can never rule out Moshiri pulling the trigger far too early, it's just what he does, he has zero patience

It's his money though. I think the fact the signings have come in an done well means moshpit will hold off on sacking benitez.

He sacks everyone except the one who truly deserves it, brands

Nah.
Our current manager is the perfect match for us because we’re both going nowhere, (except for BMD of course , which itself will probably end up proving to be a figurative and literal dead end over time)

It would have to be a tooth and nail relegation fight to get to a point where Benitez is sacked.

They (the board) know they owe him.

Nah he’ll blink if the fans turn, proved it over and over again, he just wants to be loved like a big Daddy Warbucks.
No wriggle room for that. It costs a lot of cash that this club doesn't have.

There's a new-old mentality now. We sell our best players and let the manager recycle it and hand them the space to make errors as long as we're in no danger. It's a return to the Kenwright/Moyes pact.

Moyes was probably the best dof we have ever had benitez bought a lot of absolute dross for Liverpool and even Newcastle fans admit a lot of his signings were shocking
