If you don't want to eat it, don't then. You are given fair warning, more often than not. I'm not trying to impose my unarsed belief upon you, I just don't understand the objection, is all. I'm not trying to make you eat halal if you don't want to nor would I want to make you if you objected as strongly as you do, but these sort of things will inevitably upset some people because they feel they are bing overlooked.
Fair enough, but earlier you said halal only meat should be served in schools. There wouldn't be a choice there, would there?
Wembley stadium, for example, only serves halal meat. Again, no choice there. Same for Twickenham I believe.
However, my issue isn't it being served, it's more the lack of transparency and even choice. People deserve to know what they are eating, halal or not.
