Shaky first half, but then again the whole side did. Though he's comfortable on the ball, he was a bit too slow on it at times and come under pressure quickly, but he'll pick the speed of the game up as he plays more. Other than that, very solid at the back. Likes to play it out, but also very no-nonsense on occasions.

To be honest, apart from giving the ball away for their first, I thought he was solid all night.

There was moments that I felt quite cautious over. It's a new and very differing league for him, his second half performance was greatly improved. I look forward to seeing him on the pitch more. Solid full debut. Well done.

We need Stones back for the derby but I like him. Needs time to adapt of course, but he's better than I thought he would be at first. Didn't do much wrong apart from the goal and one minute in the first half where he seemed to lose his head a bit and made a few mistakes in quick succession, apart from that very good on the ball and in the air and I was impressed with a couple of his no nonsense hoofs at the end. Time will tell if he can succeed Jags but it's promising.

i think if he plays the derby it will be huge for the rest of his time here, in terms of if he has a shocker itll be pretty hard to come back from. I know thats a drama queen thing to say considering itll be only his 2nd game, but i still think it

Looks ropey as hell to me. Watches diagonals drift over his head, gets caught flat footed and square when the ball comes across the face and got sucked out of position way too often for my liking. I didn't see anything in him that hinted at a £10m CB tbh.

One thing is for sure, he is an improvement over Alcaraz. Thought he had some class on him, and have to say i like his decision making.
