Was a bit dodgy but the good thing about tonight was even that he had a hand in the first WBA goal we won the game, so it isn't something that i think will play on his mind or ruin his confidence. If we lost, and it was his fault it could of been a real nightmare for him so early in his time at Goodison, but onwards and upwards for Romi.

I think he looked a player tonight and for a first PL start he didn't take him long to get up to the speed of the match (which isn't easy against a Pulis side who are hard to play against for even the experienced).

Take away the goal and you have a very very good performance.

One thing is for sure, he is an improvement over Alcaraz. Thought he had some class on him, and have to say i like his decision making.

their strikeforce was worth about £35m, not the easiest of starts like. he did well enough in the end. nearly scored a screamer too! it's just as soon as it left his foot it was never going in.

Made one error which wasn't helped by a rubbish throw out by Galloway and no one offering him a pass. His initial mistake was followed by worse ones by Barry Jags and Howard so I don't see why Mori should take the rap just for making the first error. Other than that not a foot out of place.

Thought the lad did really well overall. Not sure I blame him more than Barry for their first. He's been thrown in and done well. I like the way he comes forward as well. It's almost as if he's stepped back in time and this is the Alcaraz we were expecting coming from Bobby's old team. Not some kid from Argentina*



*albeit yes a pretty expensive one.

Did well overall. Obviously overplayed with the goal but others were equally at fault there too.

Was concerned after the first half, he didn't inspire a great deal of cofidence, but second half he looked solid and comfortable on the ball. Good performancr overall.
