He'll learn from that, and luckily it didn't cost us.Had a massive Distin moment yesterday but otherwise he's been class, forming a good little partnership with Stones on the down low
Exactly, Stones had 1 a game in him in his first year or so, you have to accept it and let them learn from it. On the whole funes been really impressiveNot going to jump on his back because of one crappy back pass, that happens to everyone.
He reminds me forcefully of Distin. Not a good thing. Always seems ready to drop a clanger and lose us a game.
Hopefully he improves as he adjusts to the league.
Think I feel like that about every none English centre half when they're new to the club tbh.He reminds me forcefully of Distin. Not a good thing. Always seems ready to drop a clanger and lose us a game.
Hopefully he improves as he adjusts to the league.
To me mate, it's more worrying if he continues to make mistake after mistake in a game, right now he kinda has one doh moment per game in him and after that smartens up and cuts the errors out, hopefulyl the mistake a game will go away altogtehr after a bit of experience in the league
Right now though i am enjoying having both him and Stones at the heart of the defence as frankly it has removed all the major doubts i had over what happens when Jagielka fades and also that Martinez can't judge a good defender - which Galloway, Stones, Mori have shown to be utter bollocks by now
I'm not that bothered about him making mistakes; it's more that he looks like he's going to make a mistake all the time. He makes me nervous, just like Distin did.
I'm not overly impressed with him yet, put bluntly. But he has time to come good. I think people are forcing themselves to praise him thus far out of a desire to see him be actually good, rather than because he is good.
