He's by no means our worst signing. Part of the problem with the signing is that, for what look like slightly dodgy reasons, he ended up costing us twice as much as was originally being quoted, but that's not his fault.
If he can iron out the faults in his game which, lets be honest, made him a liability at time, there's a decent player in there. But, if those mistakes keep happening, then he'll be stuck at the level he's currently at. Again, to be fair, that level is probably the sort of level we're currently at as a club, which is why we're generally signing players with flaws who might improve, rather than the finished article.

If he comes back and stays fit I think he'll improve a lot next to Keane with Pickers behind.
