RB Leipzig

Little bit surprised by this as he's 30 this year and deal still runs till 2021 so thought they'd maybe just sell this Summer. Great player but very injury prone now. Hopefully it's just a 1-year extension to give more breathing room to sell.

Lmao, first "casualty" of the new Bundesliga restart as new Augsburg manager leaves the teams quarantine hotel for face cream and thus cannot conduct training or manage his team this weekend.

Well we’re strangely bloody back folks! Game is live on BT Sports 2 and kicks off in 15 mins. Team news for both sides - Kampl back from injury, not sure on formation yet as just got home, shame there’s no Waldschmidt for Freiburg:

There’s no CB on the pitch for RBL today. I reckon it’s possibly a back 3 of Halste, Klostermann and Mukiele with Angelino and maybe Adams wing back? Who knows, who cares, footie is back.

Strange atmosphere there, very very odd watching on the tv but I'll try and persevere with it. Any fans congregating outside the grounds, didn't see any coverage before they kicked off if there was?

I don’t think so and I doubt it really as the stadium isn’t bang in the city. I’d imagine German fans would be smarter than ours.

Totally agree, I didnt think the German fans are as daft as ours, and wouldn't risk going even to the grounds - totally think the opposite of English supporters, of many sides, and even next season if its behind closed doors.

0-0

Werner on the break forces a save from the keeper but Laimer just can’t sort his feet out to hit the rebound in.
