RB Leipzig

Beautiful part of the world. I’ve been fairly close to there I believe when visiting Berchtesgaden

I believe it's in/near Salzburg? I've never been to Austria but would love to. The sort of countryside I'd love to retire in one day.

It’s a beautiful country. Salzburg is a must-see destination if you can make it happen. I’m fortunate—I used to live in Germany and was able to travel around a fair amount while there. Even made it to Leipzig which I liked quite a bit

I'd love to go in the Summer so I can hike and all that but I also really want to go around Christmas time for the Krampus festivities.

Pre-Season Friendly

Well today are the final (possibly) set of friendlies before the season officially kicks off next weekend in the DFB-Pokal Cup. There has just been a 60 minute friendly against Al Hilal that included those late back to pre-season due to internationals or injury with Gvardiol, Brobbey & Andre Silva making their debuts. Game ended 1-0 with a Forsberg penalty but wasn't televised

Now they have a game vs Ajax which includes the main bulk of the squad and those most likely to start the season. Being shown live on some random Dutch channel called ZiggoTV but will try find a working link. No team news has been released from RBL's side but the Ajax team is very much full strength.

Teams - or just Ajax - will be wearing black armbands due to the passing of an Ajax youth player in a car crash this week.

1-1 FT

Extremely scrappy match with about 5-6 yellow cards which for a friendly equates to about 50-60 in a proper match. Tadic opened the scoring in the first half, Nkunku equalised in the second. There's still a distinct hangover from the Nagelsmann days especially players bought under him who aren't used to Red Bull football. Can certainly see what they're aiming towards and played the quickest they have in 2 years. Tyler Adams is born for this system.

Still missing a shed load of players so think the start of the season will be particularly slow.
