RB Leipzig

RBL Matchday

Well, that Brentford game was God awful so here's hoping for some fun across the continent. It's a home tie against a strong Leverkusen team and using the same lineup from the very decent win in Bruges. Club still completely decimated top to bottom by COVID at the moment but Szobo and Adams are back onto the bench. Really hope Brobbey has another decent game and can be convinced to stick around. This team very rarely back up a good performance with another this season so reckon a draw will be a decent result. Probably Patrick Schick back to ruin the day though.

RBL Matchday

It's a very tough away trip to the capital vs Union Berlin tonight. The squad is still a fair bit obliterated by ongoing injury and COVID issues with Marsch and now his assistant Beierlorzer still away but now Marco Kurth is back to stand in on the sidelines. There's been lots of chatting in the media about the heirarchy demanding the club be on 30pts by the New Year but after last weeks defeat that means they can't even afford to draw here. They're not a sacking club but if they lose tonight and end up not making Europa League I think the Marsch experiment will be over. Also had some dissent amongst the squad in how hands off he can be with management and also how certain players (Moriba and Brobbey) have been handled. It's all slowly slipping to an ugly end to me.

I'll go for a draw here with huge performances required from Silva and Henrichs (how he gets a game I'll never know).
