RB Leipzig

One thing I noticed about German footy is that their names are on the bottom of their shirts which is pointless and just looks stupid.

RBL Matchday

Crunch time and the most obvious definition of a must win game tonight in the CL away to Bruges. There is still only slim hope of a 3rd place finish but can’t see them getting anything out of a fire up Bruges side that can still qualify from the group.

The squad and management have been ravaged by injury and COVID lately so Marsch will not be there along with a number of players - 12 to be precise - where’s your injury crisis now Everton. Thin squad low on confidence? Can’t see much happening. Nice to see Brobbey get a chance - rumours of Ajax buying him back in January.

1-0 RBL

It’s been all Leipzig so far with a very good press. Swift counter, Silva’s shot is saved but golden boy Nkunku with the rebound.

4-0 HT

On the stroke of half-time Forsberg produced some magic from the left and slots outside the box. Brilliant first half from everyone. Ferocious football.

5-0 FT

Nkunku gets his second right at the death. Wonderful performance against a sloppy and dirty Bruges side (should have had a man sent off). RBL leapfrogged into 3rd spot on goal difference. Hilariously the GD is 0 despite today’s win.
