RB Leipzig

2-1 FT

What a grim game that was; foul after foul. 3rd place and Europa League spot confirmed even if they lost due to the Bruges result. Nice confidence booster.

RBL Matchday

Well it's Domenico Tedesco's first game in charge of Leipzig this afternoon against the equally underachieveing Gladbach - both sides are on 18pts from 14 match days but goal difference seperates them. The lineup is back to a 3-4-3 under Nagelsmann that Tedesco also has preferred from his time at Schalke and Spartak and should get the best out of both Angelino and Mukiele who are both woeful in a back 4 - Orban also returns after COVID. Haidara - who I would say is now first choice in the middle - is out with an ankle injury although reports suggest he might be off to United in January so he's possibly just being kept out which would be a shame. Should be another tough game despite Gladbach's last result (7-0 defeat) so a point would be good but anything that isn't a defeat is a must really to get back on track for the top 4.

Game is LIVE from 2.30pm

1-0 RBL

First goal under the new regime and totally deserved after the first 20 mins. Angelino free kick, Gvardiol with a thumping header.

2-0 RBL

Quick counter, Angelino with his second assist of the game this time for Silva. I must say though this Gladbach team look awful for such a talented side.

3-1

Can stop clenching now as Nkunku puts the nail in the coffin of Gladbach and possibly their manager too after this. Great first result for Tedesco.
