RB Leipzig

3-1 (5-3) RBL

Should be game over now... RBL have been absolutely rattled since Sociedad scored and it's parts of games like that where you can see their top level inexperience comes in. Nkunku wins another penalty, gets another penalty kick robbed off him, but Forsberg scores this one thankfully.

RBL Matchday

Back to league action after the midweek EL game and an away trip to quietly impressive Bochum. This has now become quite a must win game due to Freiburg, Hoffenheim and Union all winning this week. 3pts here will push RBL back to 4th thanks to their way superior goal difference. Bochum are unbeaten in 4 (3 draws) and don't really possess too much quality but are doing well as a newly promoted team. Should be a pretty routine victory depending on the energy levels but Tedesco makes 7 changes from the side that started in Sociedad on Thursday. Marcel Halstenberg, the remaining injured player, makes the bench for the first time this season making that a fully fit squad - Gvardiol is missing but no word on if injured/left out after a couple of shaky games, 2 keepers on the bench so suspect either reason. Extremely strong bench if things aren't going to plan though. Only player for them I'm interested in is 20-year old CB Armel Bella Kotchap who is very talented.

Game is LIVE from 14.30pm

1-0 RBL

Don’t even have to tell you who scored the goal. It’s been a very tough last 20 minutes with a raft of subs taking any sort of synergy from RBL’s game but Henrichs slides a ball through the Bochum defence for Nkunku to finish off in the bottom corner.

1-0 FT

Cracking and I'd say deserved win over the 90 against a very well setup Bochum side. Neither team created too much but the keepers were in decent form. Leipzig back up to 4th now on goal difference. On form you wonder where RBL would be in the table had Tedesco got the job in the Summer instead of Marsch. Right now, title is already wrapped up but there's an exciting fight going on from 3rd down to around Koln in 8th.
