RB Leipzig

6-1

Poulsen with, you’d think, the final goal. Olmo with the slide ball, Poulsen with the lovely chipped finish. Doing wonders for the goal difference this game.

6-1 FT

Back up to 4th, goal difference has now gone up to +21 which is level with Leverkusen's in 3rd (but 4pts ahead). 12-1 goal difference in the two games vs Hertha this season. That's 7 wins, 2 draws and 2 defeats for Tedesco so far to give him, at the moment, the highest win % of an RBL manager.

RBL Matchday

It's the return leg in Spain to face Sociedad with the game poised at 2-2 from the first round - no away goals anymore so no danger they'll play, I hope, like they did in the first game when they made Burnley look exciting. RBL are coming off the back of a thumping win, Sociedad off the back of a thumping defeat but league form irrelevant for European games. Few changes from the week with the very impressive Olmo back starting and Kampl - chosen for his passing - comes in for Haidara; that's the only change I don't particularly like as he can slow games down too much. Hoping for a win but anything goes in these ties - an early goal for RBL will really open things up.

Game is LIVE from 17.45pm on BT Sport Extra 1
