RB Leipzig

RBL Matchday

As well as a crunch PL tie to watch with a nice cold Fosters I've also got a semi-final on the laptop for Leipzig vs Union in the DFB-Pokal! This is the first of two meetings with Union this week with a league fixture at home again on Saturday. The winner of this semi will meet Freiburg in the final on the 21st May in the capital. It's a full strength lineup tonight as expected with the only change being the injured Kampl out for in form Szobo so I'm think it's maybe a 3-3-2-2 formation? Big game, again, required from the out of form Andre Silva. Actually not sure on the format of this competition in regards to extra-time/penalties but hopefully it's all wrapped up in the 90. Union won the first fixture of the season 2-1 under Marsch so a little bit of revenge required. Union are a hard working side with a few quality players and will be a tough opponent tonight.

Game is LIVE from 19.45pm

2-1 FT

92nd winner from Forsi's head, the exact moment Richy scored our equaliser too, what are the odds.

It's a 21st May meeting with Freiburg in the DFB-Pokal final baby.
So... Both of us playing to be in 2 finals 3 days apart!?
UEFA have opened applications for final tickets

Haha yes, but you'd think maybe they'd get the domestic cups moved on a few days in that event?

Would have loved to have seen this live. 92m winner to go through to the final in front of a record crowd.

Great scenes!
The togetherness of the squad and coaching staff oozes out in that clip.

Funny, but both Rangers and RBL have been on a similar journey(for different reasons) over the last 10 years or so and for both clubs to be now playing each other to decide which one of them will reach a Major European final is pretty incredible tbh?
