Rule seems to be if ball is going towards players face and he reacts to that with hands to protect it, but he doesn't put his hands outside his body shape doing it, then no penalty!
I honestly reckon the VAR people had just clocked off and left the room with 30 seconds to go lol

Was a bit like the Goldson one against Celtic, the official reason for not giving penalty then was as I said in post above!

There may be some rule where that isn’t handball, they change every year and I haven’t got a clue now, but I’d be pissed if I was a City fan. Would be the most Leipzig way to lose a game ever though. Give away like 5 ridiculous penalties every year and they’re usually from that player. He’s their Alexander-Arnold basically.

Back to league action and it's a home trip against an excellent, albeit turbulent, Frankfurt side. I'm assuming Marco Rose wants to lose this game as he has starting Kevin Kampl. Going for 5-0 down by half-time with this one. Lindstrom, Kamada & Kolo Muani need stopping which will be very difficult since both starting full-backs are the definition of slow. This game is going to be grim. Werner also persisted with despite being really crap.

Leipzig are away at Dortmund with a win taking them to within 1 point of top and Dortmund win taking them temporarily 3pts clear of Bayern (which is wild to say in March). Dortmund are in red hot form with 10 wins from 10 in all comps so to say this is gonna be tough is an understatement. However... Christo is back! First start for Nkunku since his pre-WC injury. Hopefully he's the spark on the way to a win but Laimer is missing from the middle and the other forwards are a bit out of form lately. Would take a draw here for sure.
