RB Leipzig

RBL Matchday

CL fury must be put aside now as the race for the Top 4 remains as tight as ever - more so with Stuttgart winning AGAIN last night (happy for them but can you stop please). Home game today against bottom side Darmstadt so nothing less than a win is acceptable. Rose has made a few changes today and I finally get to see Elmas properly for once! Lots of media chatter the last few weeks about him being unhappy with his minutes but c'mon kid, you're not as good as Xavi and Olmo, what were you expecting? Hopefully he looks good though as he needs to become a leader next year after the former two leave. These have like legit no good players, striker ain't too bad but that's about it, c'mon, put them to the sword.

Game is LIVE from 14.30pm

Marcel Shoes for Darmstadt is such a great name.

RBL Matchday

Boys are back in town and it's an away trip to lowly Mainz looking for a 4th league win in a row. Everyone seemed to come home from the international break unscathed which is good but Rose has gone for a little bit of rotation for those that played more minutes for their country. Baumgartner and Kampl are back starting with Sesko and Haidara dropping out - the latter having just signed a new deal. I thought maybe this would be another chance to see Elmas playing but only a bench spot for him. Mainz are in the relegation play-off spot currently but they're not as bad as that and I think will cause lots of problems especially with all 3 of Ajorque, Onisiwo and Burkardt starting.

RBL Matchday

Really, really need a win today to try and keep up the pressure on Dortmund and Stuttgart (who play each other tonight) in the race for a CL spot. It's a home game, it's sunny, and it's Freiburg who have a shocker of a record vs Leipzig. Rose makes a couple of changes from their last game with Haidara and Sesko relegating Kampl and Baumgartner respectively - positive changes and you'd say full strength lineup. Can't be having another game with a million chances and no goals though. Freiburg are having a poor season by their standards but aren't a poor side whatsoever; very physical, lots of threat up top with Doan and Grifo. If it's a Leipzig win it'll be a close one like 2-1.

Game is LIVE from 14.30pm
