- Club today linked with Valentino Lazaro of Inter Milan on a possible loan with option for a right-sided option. Not the defensive all-rounder Nagelsmann wants so might see more links to other players before the window shuts.
- Josep Martinez of Las Palmas expected at the club on Monday to complete his deal before heading back to Spain on loan till the Summer.
- Club scouted Man City's Jayden Braaf in the Youth FA Cup this week.
- Elias Abouchabaka's 2-year loan with Greuther Furth cut short and returns to the club. Bit of a weird one, he's super talented, got into the team of the tournament in the 2017 Euro U17's but stagnated since.

- Sporting Director Krosche apparently photographed in Italy meeting the agent of Inter Milan's Valentino Lazaro (ex-RB Salzburg). With the additions of Ashley Young and, imminently, Victor Moses it seems Lazaro is surplus. Can play wide right and at full-back which adds strength to Mukiele with Klostermann now a CB for the forseeable. Still think the club are wanting more down the left with only one option on that side.
- Club have apparently bid £16m and £17m for Dani Olmo (Dinamo Zagreb) but can't afford to go any higher. Only the promise of minutes and development would lure him as that would easily be outbid by other teams.

If he does come in it allows Mukiele and Klostermann to provide central defensive cover whilst injured parties recover.
