Referees v Everton

Brighton v Everton - Connolly gets his boot trodden on - penalty
Everton v Brighton - Everton player wiped out in box at Park End - nothing

I said after the former "I can't wait to see if the same happens at Goodison" - guess what, it didn't.

Newcastle v Everton - Shelvey wipes out Gordon - yellow not reviewed
Everton v Newcastle - Allan cynically tackles ASM - yellow reviewed to red

So it's ok to reproduce Kuyt's cynical tackle on Neville - as long as the victim is wearing an Everton top no action will be taken.

I’m guessing tomorrow’s match will see at least 2 offside goals, 3 penalties chalked off and 3 yellow and one red cards. Refs pre match instructions from Stockley Park.

Richarlsion penalty against Spurs was given, and then advised to be overturned by VAR, That one is up there with one of most furious ones
Only Everton could have a referee award a penalty and then rescind in pre-VAR days - happened at Stoke a few years ago, we won 3-2.

I'd also love to hear from fans of other clubs and see how many Clive Thomas, Collina, Clattenburg, Atkinson, Poll moments they've had.

There used to be a referee, only did the Prem for about 4-5 years, and he’s the only ref I recall who was favourable to Everton, and he here us a few shocking decisions.

Roger East, loved him.
Honestly, was a big fan of Bobby Madley. Thought he was pretty solid. It just seems like the average now is faaaarrr worse than the average 10 years ago and it's mind boggling.

You betcha sweet bippy that every club outside of the Scab Six have their fair share of 'bad' decisions @ToffeeDan.
No surprises there as every official knows that if they don't favour the cheating Scumbags, they will not get the European games and therefore their rating is reduced, along with their standing, and income.

Thursday's VAR Sole is Sunday's ref.. Everton That!!
Football is a multi-billion global industry, and is totally wrecked by the constant tinkering of the rules.
Carlo said football is a simple game, and it used to be. Kevin Keagan said in 2008 that the constant tweaking of rules would strangle the game.
The game became a cheats charter once it was deemed in 2006 better to NOT yellow card players for diving. You figure. This was mainly because most referees are too inept, or corrupt, to spot a foul from a dive and gives them licence to decide who, and when, and how to penalise.
VAR has been introduced to put a massive smokescreen in front of the fans who are already uncertain about the application of the rules.
'There is no game without us' proclaimed the modest Howard Webb, and the referees have moved heaven and earth to ensure they are the most important part of the game. It is no longer a game for the 'common man'.

Tell me of any other industry in the world that increases the number of employees when introducing technology. There isn't one. Then to compound matters with increased personnel and the wonders of technology, everything becomes worse. Heads should roll for the entire fiasco. They won't of course,, not while those involved sit in their ivory towers becoming more and more wealthy and need answer only to themselves.

Much like Americans mistakenly see their country as 'the land of the free', football fans mistakenly conceive their game to be 'for the common man'.
Money rules USA...and it rules football. Anybody thinking otherwise is either a naive ingenu...or a straight-out fool
