Referees v Everton

When have you ever seen a referee go over and check the ball was in the corner ‘arc’ btw like he did when Gordon was taking one ?

Just never happens. Yet, he bottles the decisions that actually could change the game.

Jokers.
Yes, that was odd.

They don't mate, the fans help ref that game today. That's all he done. The rs fans screamed dive "oh it must be a dive then".

He had no intention whatsoever on giving us anything today. His remit was to ensure that 3 points went to the rs, it was blatant

So why is this not a foul?

What's even more pathetic is that anyone who has a different opinion is automatically called a red. I've read this forum for around 6 mths before deciding to join this week and I really do wonder about the objectivity of some people on here. We accuse reds of victim mentality but the crap spouted here about the officials today was beyond a joke. The only decision that could/should have gone the other way was Mane.

It's because your coming across as a massive red that's why. You've been shown videos, everyone can see its a pen, it's a pen every single day of the week, all the pundits know it's a pen, all the Evertonians in the away end knew it was a pen

Oh, apart from Inchy who joined this week and says it's not a pen. That's not an opinion, it's called being blatantly stupid, on a wind up or being a red it's as simple as that

The sooner everyone realises that it was all about sky and the media getting their result today the better. It’s all corrupt and linked in to each other add to that the shambles that is VAR, I mean come on, new technology being used by the worst refs in Europe what did any expect, not only is there now 1 bad ref doing the game there is 2, almost laughable.
I can accept refs/officials being poor, as long as they are consistently evenly "bad" in a game, what I cannot accept is the blatant favouritism with game changing decisions I am seeing with my own eyes on a weekly basis, one rule for "them" then one rule for us, it wholly stinks, people will say you are bitter because of the situation find ourselves in,I'm not,I can accept Everton being awful and even going down if I know I am looking at a fairly straight game, it just isn't though is it?

It’s not a thing. It’s all about denying a goal scoring opportunity. There’s no mention of the last man in the FA rules. You can be sent off for a foul in the box without being last man and not get sent off for a foul while the last man back.

Dawson saw red because he made no attempt to play the ball and denied a goal-scoring opportunity. It made no difference that he was the last man.

Penalty, yes. Red card, no.
Substitute Dawsons name with Matip

No attempt to play the ball and denied a goalscoring opportunity .
So Dawson gets red...we get zilch.

Exactly mate, we're I the bottom 3 because we are crap and we know this but I'm not having anyone tell me that City handball and 3 decisions today aren't anything but corrupt officiating as it's the top 2 sides.

Like @ForeverBlue92 says (and I don't agree with 99% of what he says) but that's scripted today, just like WWE. It's blatant corrupt officiating

Hasn’t been for many years, the introduction of VAR was meant to be to help the refs, it’s been an absolute shambles as it has shown up their ineptitude, what makes it worse is that even VAR is missing some things also, how can something that can be reviews over and over again as many times as you like still getting missed? Because they want it to be is the only answer and the people using VAR are the same idiots who needed so called help in the first place.

Think you need to read the thread. Others have also cast doubt on the penalty claim. The video showing the players running towards the camera shows them shoulder to shoulder, then Gordon makes a sidestep to cut in front and then drops to the floor. He was looking for the decision because he had nowhere to go. So no, not a red, but I can be objective and if that was given against us, I'd be fuming.

Some abysmal decisions macca, off the top of my head, the Rondon one at Brentford?Shelveys assault on Gordon up there,Allan crucially missing three games for his red card.

Yeah mate standing on his foot doesn't count because the push came first and the push wasn't enough so that doesn't count because fouls in the rs box don't count as we know.

We should just accept it and move on, nothing to see here apparently.
There's a reason its 14 months since they had a pen agst them at Anfield.

Last years derby as a matter if fact.
