Referees v Everton

He literally admitted above that he doesnt know the rules.

Thinks the Richarlison 1st pen wasnt one + no yellow for the one given.

Its mindblowing how the refs/var have brainwashed people.
I dont agree with it, but I can get why the first one may not be given.

NO yellow for the pen given though, after checking it again was daft.

What happened with Branthwaite is exactly the same as Gordon vs United. A tangle of legs, heel clipped. Yet we didn’t even get a foul in our favour. Not saying it wasn’t a foul today. Just pointing out similar instances where it’s reffed polar opposite. And that’s not even bringing into the BLATANT shirt pull (second one against Brentford this season by the way) prior to the incident. We are reffed, for whatever reason you want, differently to the majority of this league and it ‘kin stinks.

Was Branthwaite's definitely a red card by the way? It didn't look a deliberate foul as the it appeared his legs crossed with Toney's which caused the foul but it didn't look to me like a deliberate attempt to stop a goal scoring opportunity.

Either way, inexplicably poor defending.
Doesn't ahve to be intentioanl.

Most fouls are unintentional, doesnt make them less of a yellow/red.

Ball going towards the forward...defender pulls his shirt so hard its clearly hanging off.

Referee has a clear view. In the rules thats a penalty.

2nd one was a clear yellow.

Oliver has been biased against us in half a dozen games. Its blatant.

In the reverse fixture. Same thing happened. However....

"You can see he lifts his shirt from the midriff but with the tolerance level we currently have with VAR, Jon Moss doesn't feel it's enough to overturn the decision of no penalty.

"If that's going to be given, it has to be given on field."

So there you go ladies and gentlemen. "Tolerance levels" dictate what they can overturn. So basically Michael Oliver didn't think it was a penalty.

It's insane to me that "tolerance levels" exist for something like shirt pulling, but if the ball is blasted into your hand as it swings past your midriff it's a certain penalty.

Football is a game officiated by very unintelligent and illogical people and VAR is the worst thing to ever happen to it.

This is the kind of bollocks they can hide behind to manipulate what they want in games. Disgusting. They’re a law unto themselves these kin refs. Absolute racket.

Nah, mate don't forget these decisions even themselves out over a season. Haha, Brentford got away with murder in both games against us.
