Referees v Everton

It's insane to me that "tolerance levels" exist for something like shirt pulling, but if the ball is blasted into your hand as it swings past your midriff it's a certain penalty.

Football is a game officiated by very unintelligent and illogical people and VAR is the worst thing to ever happen to it.

Yep. You can pull the vaults up on VAR and see I've never changed my mind on it.

You can't let it dictate football games if on one hand you can draw lines and be mathematically precise on things like offsides, then be completely inconsistent on everything else due to human error and interpretation.

I'd much rather if be a ref making decisions and him be wrong about it as its his final decision..not a million replays and other officials miles away making them.

No matter the amount we have been done over, and we have been a lot, we have still been given the chances to be safe and have not took them, we have had many chances to know we could be safe either on game that is about to happen, or knowing for example if we got that win at watford

And pundits say Oliver is the best ref in the league!

How hasn't he given us the pen for the shirt pull or why haven't VAR hot involved, if that's Salah pulled like that and Van Dijk had been sent off do you think VAR just leaves it as it is? No chance

And why hasn't he gave no.29 a second yellow for the foul for the pen we got?

Doesn't ahve to be intentioanl.

Most fouls are unintentional, doesnt make them less of a yellow/red.
Didn't they get rid of the double jeopardy issue though, or maybe that's just for penalties. Either way, it doesn't excuse Branthwaite's Sunday league defending or Oliver's incompetence for not awarding a penalty at the other end.

They changed it so if a player makes a genuine attempt for the ball inside the box, a yellow is sufficient.

If a player denies a goalscoring chanceout the box it doesn’t matter if it was genuine or not.

I've vaulted myself(if that's a thing) and I stand by it...at both ends of the table....it makes you think is it scripted?
Or at the least influenced...to make the Premier League more exciting!!!
Tbh, I don’t think it’s either scripted or influenced, but I do suspect the levels of ineptitude and inconsistency in the PGMOL isn’t under greater scrutiny because it makes for better entertainment.
