Really easy to gloss over what he achieved at RS isn't it? Huge expectation there and he delivered.
I agree, after that, not so great but that's football. Who'd you rather have Frank Fraud or him? I know who I'd trust more to at least be tactically aware.
Difference of opinions:

They both were given the opportunity here, and they both failed miserably.
But you would still put your faith in the man that would already have had us playing in the championship..

Though I'm not quite sure what Lamps has got to do with this anyway, as he had nothing to do with the post.

Based on the bounce he had with us. He does not need to have "a good time" - copyright Bill Kewnright - as a manager. He needs to get a bounce. He got one with a similarly useless group of players at Everton.

Don't get me wrong. I hope he falls flat on his face and it's a death sentence for Leicester. But I think there is every possibility this comes back to be the horror show for us that @matty1878 suffers in his nightmares...when he can actually sleep.

Leicester need a bounce, not a Champions League win. Benitez is well capable of a bounce.

they’re in talks with dean smith

i can only sleep IF we’re safe!

Craig Shakespeare part of Dean Smith's team going back to Leicester?

I thought he was hated by a lot of Leicester players for the way he stabbed Ranieri in the back?

This will end well...for us.

That was a whole cycle of players ago though. How many of their current squad were even there the year after they won the league?

As a club they appear to be all over the shop, and are panicking…..there does not seem to be a coherent strategy to appoint a manager…..all managers linked have different playing styles
It’s genuinely astonishing how quickly Leicester have gone from the model to follow to an absolute basket case.

Their rise was rapid, so too their fall I guess.

Yes.

He actually got them out of a mess when he went there as manager in 2017.

But that was a title winning team he took charge of.

I'd be ok with Smith + Shakespeare. A couple of dullards cant get enough of a tune out of them I wouldn't have thought.
