Ringing endorsement from the Leicester fans. Because as we know, “he’s cheap, he will do,” is the mantra that counts in a relegation tussle.

They’re more than well equipped to survive and they probably should do , with the squad they have it’s a failure that they’re down there . That doesn’t make it a good appointment , even if they get out of it though but I like you I’m not relying on them going down as they’ve clearly been coasting .
Oh it’s not a good appointment in the long term, it’s quite strange in all honesty. It’s how the players respond to him I guess

The supporters of the clubs facing relegation hate it, but in a way it's harder for us. Everton haven't been relegated since 1951
and being out of the Premier League will be hard to take. We're just not used to it.

The others are. In the 2011/12 season only two teams of this bottom nine were in the Premier League, Everton and Wolves and they finished 20th.

Getting Dyche is looking like a masterstroke - if only they had done it after B'mouth had
beaten us 12-0 in two matches we would be further up the table.

The Utd game was the exception in recent games- EFC just never really showed up other
than the first ten minutes but as long as Dyche can rev them up again as he did at Chelsea
we should be ok as we have a decent defense.

However the Utd game showed how pitiful the team is as an attacking unit.
I still cannot see how Super Frankie Lampard bought Dwight and Maupay and as for Deli
that could only have been engineered by Agent Rafael; our fullbacks contribute nothing going forward
but Iwobi is at least consistent - one or two goals a season.

This is a poor team that will make us suffer. In Dyche we trust.

Pardon?

Nothing matters except us winning against Fulham then anything else is a bonus. Let's be honest, Forest have nose dived and Leicester have massively stalled and if it wasn't for that we'd be 19th in all honesty and struggling.

We still don't look like winning a game away from home and all it takes are massive brainfart moments like Doucoure getting sent off and costing us a chance of all 3 points and we are then relieved to get a draw.

Draws at home though ain't going to cut it. Nothing is a given in this league and we've just got to hope Dyche gets the selection right and the team are at it from the off on Saturday. Anything less than a win and it would be a huge blow.

Benitez would be a much better option than Smith as well.
I don't think Smith is a good appointment, but, I believe Benitez would have been worse. There are a lot of disgruntled multi millionaires in Leicester's dressing room who want out of the club, Benitez' abrasive confrontational style of management would have been akin to throwing a lit candle into a box of fireworks.

I think 'masterstroke' is overegging it a little (no pun intended).

He was out of work and the appointment was about on par for what we should have been aiming for.

Make no mistake though, we're the biggest club he has managed by a million miles and he's as lucky to have us as we are him!

Smith brought Villa up and kept them up. He has experience of a relegation battle and he has proven he can keep a team up. What are u basing Leicester being cut adrift on?
Smith: you judge a manager on their fit for the job in hand and their recent past. Has Smith had experience fighting a relegation battle successfully at this stage of the season? Did he do well in his last job? No.

What am I basing Leicester being cut adrift on? They've lost 11 of the their last 15 games, taken 1 point from the last 24 on offer, they play City away next, after that they play a Wolves team that are much better than them and then an away match at Leeds which they'll be second favourites in.

I can easily see Leicester still on 25 oints by the time they play Everton.

If it wasn’t for all the other teams below us being worse than us we’d be bottom.

100% we need 3 points from Saturdays game

Fulham is a massive game, but we still don’t look like we will score, real 50/50 now on whether we can get enough goals, then points to stay up.
Simms doesn’t work, especially without Doucoures work rate harassing the back line.
So I’d go back to Gray and hope others can contribute, maybe bringing Garner in the middle.
Iwobi needs to start finding blue shirts when going forward.
Really not good viewing when you watch the game back and then look how other clubs are picking up surprise points
