If we win as they later lose (and they will) then that's a 5 point gap they cant make up. And I dont see Forest or S'ton getting clear of the bottom three.

That's why I've said if we get to 30 points today I'd see it as safe. If not mathematically then all but true because we'd need a final 6 points from 7 games. And I dont see those at the bottom getting 36 points.

You’re ignoring the fact next 5 look grim - very grim - on paper there Dave. The away form means we aren’t winning outside Goodison and just look at the home games….

Palace away - 1 point
Newcastle home in the form they’re in - 0 points
Leicester away - 1 point
Brighton away - 0 points
City home - 0 points

Where your getting more than 2 points from those 5 I have no idea tbh

We will be on 32 max going into the last 2 - and that’s if we win today.

If the away games and home games were reversed I’d feel more confident.

Winning today in no way makes us anywhere near safe.

You can’t rely on them at all - the form tells only one story in that regard

I dont recognise the validity of those forecasts.

We'll beat Newcastle and B'mouth at home...and I think we'll beat City given their circumstances coming into that game with a likely Real Madrid SF games days before and days after.

I see an away win at Leicester...and we've handed Brighton a defeat and draw down there in recent years.

I think we get another 11/12 points IF we win today and take the pressure off.

Yeah today is must win, don't care what anyone says. That said, I think we'll get 1 win on the road before the end of the season, which combined with a win today, would put is in a very good position to stay up.
 
Today is a massive day. Hopefully we can get all 3 points and results go for us. Get to 30 points puts us back in the little group of Leeds West ham Bournemouth. Then it’s not just a straight fight between Everton and Leicester. I think Southampton and Forest with the run they have are gone. Hopefully Leicester fall away but just need to keep up with the pack above incase they don’t.
