I didn’t watch tonight’s match or Spurs, frankly I’ve lost interest as time goes on. Same problems different managers. If it’s not the defence needs sorting, it’s midfield and now the attacking aspects are the issue which some called out weeks ago but again got stick, fella scores one goal and those who brought up doubts are suddenly wrong.ludicrous. I it will be something else in a few months to a year. Tedious.

A few on the cesspool twitter turning on the manager, he’s far from faultless , it’s telling that they will turn quickly on managers yet defend people who have been there for years overseeing mediocrity season after season. I can’t sympathise with them at all.

You know that feeling from last season where you could see a team working hard and trying, but never having the belief to convert it all into results? It's back with a vengeance...and we dont have Richarlison to get us out of a hole.

It's terrifying.

Only two strikers in January can save us IMO. There is no one in this squad who can step up, that's for sure.
Only trouble is there are 7 games till the window opens, half the season gone bar that Arsenal game.

Looking grim.

Would bite your hand off to stay up on goal difference on the final day right now.

Attack is pitiful and the defensive stats weren’t sustainable.

I think we will be saved by other teams being worse than us this season. This only secures are place in the league by the skin of our teeth which is nothing to be proud of. How do we resolve this? Honestly don’t think it can be resolved. The likes of City, Chelsea etc, get stronger while we get weaker. Sadly we appear to be perpetual also rans unless we can win a Cup competition of some description. Depressing
I suppose you could argue the league is made up of the "Sky Six" (perhaps seven now, with Newcastle's wealth) and the "misc 14". Every now and then you might get a great story where Leics win the league or West Ham push for 4th or a newly promoted team finishes 10th etc; but all in all, it's a bit of a muchness for most of the clubs. Relative low quality with most teams just plodding along, content to be somewhere between 7th and 17th each year.

Us and Forrest are the worst two teams. Watching Forest yesterday and they couldn’t create anything just like us. The other poor teams all seem to be able to create chances at least. Need to scrape some wins before World Cup break. Vital for our chances.

We are circling the drain. Only a matter of time.

And it’s deserved to be honest, criminal negligence given the money spent. I don’t understand this fan base at all, they say protests against a clearly arrogant, inept boardroom has a negative affect on the team when clearly we still play awful and lose without them.

You could see in the recruitment we lack creativity and goal scorers and when people point these things out people get angry . I mean it’s clear as day for god sake.

Our issue will be that we wont be picking up goal scorers or creators in January without obscene numbers we cant afford, no good bringing in players of the calibre of Maupay and McNeil for the sake of bringing players in....

They can get on with it. I mean, I’m not some highly intelligent fella who can see way ahead of anyone. The issues are clearly there and we waste yet more money on players who lack assists and goals then people wonder why we lack goals and attempts. It winds me up.

The summer did it for me tho, with the board , mocking protests, concerns and so on. A never ending cycle of thick ignorance and shame on those larger followings fan accounts who stayed quiet throughout it all too, absolute self indulgent cowards.

If you finish 16th, then sell your only good attacker for 60m and then spend the money on other positions, then you will be lucky to stay up.

Our recruitment plan in the summer was fundamentally flawed. We decided to rely on a constantly injured player and sign a Brighton back up. At some point you get relegated when you continually make this many senseless and illogical decisions.

Now I still dont think we will go down this year, but I think we are going to go through the stress and anxiety of it again and it didn't have to be like this and it shouldn't have been like this.
Add to that the first four games of the season we just wrote off by not having a proper forward , talk about shooting yourself in the foot
