I think we got way too aggressive against Fulham. Dyche should have pulled back the reins a bit and took the 1 point while he had it. I appreciate the valiant effort of going for the win but I’m not sure that was the time. If we are to stay up it’s going to take having Onana, Coleman, and Doucoure back while playing conservatively. This team went 7 straight early in the season without a defeat. We have to claw our way to safety. I don’t care if that’s draws to Palace, Newcastle, Leicester, Wolves and Bournemouth. That might even be enough to save us.

Last season we seemed to get results when although pressure was high - expectation was off - Chelsea/Man Utd at Goodison spring to mind.

Fulham was devastating for us.

I'm looking at the fixture list and struggling to see where the points come from.

We've won once all season away, Southampton 1st Oct.

Crystal Palace Away - always a tough game for us - it had gone toxic there, they've appointed a manager who their players like and they've got the players to get out of it. They've won 3 on the spin - a point would be a good result.

Newcastle Home. Under the lights - I think our most likely chance of 3 points until the end of the season. If we have Coleman, Onana, and Calvert-Lewin in.

Leicester Away - fighting for their lives. Our away form, Leicester having very good players and a new manager doesn't bode well.

Brighton Away - tough game, hopefully chance of europe drops off and they're on holiday.

Man City Home - say no more.

Wolves Away - I struggle to have any confidence for any away game

Bournemouth Home - They've battered us the last 4 times we've played them, and it could be out of our hands by then.
Yes to everything here. The pessimist in me (basically all of me) thinks we are going to try and stay in the PL with a maximum of 32 points. Sorry. 🥲

If we could get ahead in a game, it would be a big thing. They've come back against Chelsea and Spurs but its a big ask of this team to do that often.
Three points is out of the question if we go behind, home or away.

Just have to see what Saturday brings and take it one game at a time. Dyche has the play the percentage game, maximise opportunities from set-pieces and a low block if we somehow manage to get in front.

I don't see us getting more than a point against Palace in reality. But the players can't go into it thinking like that. Go a goal up and tails are up again. But the attitude has to be right. If it's not we are just running into the fire.

Our form under Dyche is markedly better.

Forest have no big changes to make. They have a massive squad with plenty of options for rotation and the manager won’t change now. And yet they’ve actually gotten worse.

We're 1 win in 8. Just got spanked at home by a team thats just lost 5 on the bounce.
We're still pretty appalling. Maybe just slightly less appalling than them.

If we'd have beaten Fulham on Saturday or even drawn with them, it obviously wouldn't have been enough for us and those remaining fixtures would still be the tough ones you outline. Does that mean we'd have finished on 30 points + a couple more?

If we get a result against Palace or Newcastle and Leicester fail to get up off the floor with a win in their next two, that sees us with a good advantage to take into the last 5 games.

The run in always throws up surprise results against the grain. I doint think anyone can call this relegation fight against Everton...especially since the only team I think can possible revive and shove us into the drop zone in their place is 2 points behind us. That's an adavntage wll worth having. Let's see how Smith and Leicester do with the expectancy of a win against Wolves - if they dont get that they'll be bricking it.

On Saturday Dyche set us up appallingly in an effort to minimize the loss of 2 of the starting central midfielders. I dont think we'll see that error again. That in and of itself will sort out a lot of our issues from the last two games.

We're definitely going to have to hope the teams below us pick up the same or less points than us. We're not going to get ourselves out of this, we're going to have to rely on others somehow being worse than us. The game at Leicester is enormous.

It's knife edge stuff now. Injuries and suspensions have stuffed the momentum i thought we had.

We've had our new manager bounce, will Leicester bounce over us ?

Let's see.

People are assuming they'll get one. Not from what I saw on Saturday against City. City could have pulverized them by 6/7/8 goals until they took the A-team off.

They may sort themselves out. They can score...or I should say they could score....they've only scored 6 in the last 9 games.

They've lost 8 out of their last 9 games. I'd say that makes it very difficult to suddently go on a 3/4 game winning run.

If we get an away win and win 2 of our last 3 at home we'll stay up with points to spare.
