It is.

They have more points than us. They get more points from losing positions. They create chances to win games.

Also our defence isn’t strong either. We have conceded more than 14 of our 19 opponents.
Everton GC = 46
Leicester GC = 56
Leeds GC = 62

....the only opponents that now matter.

No, the point I was making was that Leeds can concede multiple times and still get something from the game. They have done that on 6 occasions. We have done it twice (Forest and Chelsea).

If we concede 3, we lose 100% of the time.
If we concede 2, we lose 90% of the time.
If we concede at all, we fail to win 80% of the time.
If we concede 1st, we lose 50% of the time.
60% of the time, it works... everytime

Things I've learned on here today:

1/ getting a point away from home against a PL form team with our own midfield still weakened is "not good"

2/ seeing S'ton buried, finally, and Forest and Leeds getting beat again means nothing

3/ Everton cant win any of their last 6 games but Leicester will win most of theirs (that's the Leicester who've won 1 in 12) and Newcastle will probably win most of theirs too (that's the Leeds who've won 3 times in the last 19 games).
A lot of good points but my fear is we are not scoring goals and relying on other teams to slip up at this stage is dangerous. Really need a win on Thursday.

Good point if we add a win soon
If Leeds dont beat Leicester next up then I cant see them getting anythng from B'mouth and City away either - their next two after Leicester.

That gives us 3 games to get some distance from them.

That's not pie in the sky, it's very possible...and with our midfield back together some might say very probable.

You appear to play fast and lose with a couple of terms:

Isn't it "the norm" that Leicester lose games rather than win them? I mean, one win in 12 suggests to me that Leicester dont win matches, and today's win is "the outlier".
And I have explained to you multiple times why I believe Leicester will survive and why I believe they will pick up points. It is just my opinion, it is not a fact.

Keep out pointing as many of the teams around us, we get safe. Simples.

Got more than Leeds and Forest today, at a flying palace, with 3 first teamers missing and a half fit DCL.

Not even close to being over this - a little run like palace have just had before the toffees turned up would be splendid right now.

Still in our hands.

Really carnt see us getting out of this, and if by a miracle we do, we will be back here next season, because I carnt see us being able to sign players, really sad times to be blue, and has been since I can remember really,

It is.

They have more points than us. They have won more games. They get more points from losing positions. They create chances to win games and score far more goals. They are the harder things to do in Football.

Also our defence isn’t strong either. We have conceded more than 14 of our 19 opponents.

They have won one more game and have a single point more over the season.

Since both teams appointed their current managers they have scored more than we have.

They’ve also conceded more, and have put less points on the board.

But by your logic that is better.

We'll have Doucoure back in who can come up with a goal and so too if he stays fit DCL.

We picked up 13 points scoring 8 goals since Dyche took charge.

We have a big week ahead - we take 4/6 points from Newcastle and Leicester.

@neil999 what a team these are. They sound simply unbeatable.

Our form under Dyche so far would have us getting 41 points in a full season, so we wouldn’t be back there.

With our squad plus a half decent Dyche type striker we would be comfortably mid table imo.
