Today was a good result as long as we beat Newcastle on Thursday. If we lose on Thursday then it’s game over.
That’s the issue I think isn’t it….I hope we buck the trend, we beat Arsenal at home, get beat by Fulham at home….for any unexpected points we gain, we tend to off set any benefit by unexpectedly dropping points….as people have said, if we had beat Fulham last week, todays result (which was decent in isolation) would have had the aggregate effect of being a really good point. It may still well do as long as we beat Newcastle but we know we have form for dropping points so tentatively hopeful (heart) but not expectant (head) based on recent history.

Can’t look at other teams or results when we’re playing - just who we are playing against.

If you would have said we would play ok and get a point without Coleman, Doucure and Onana in the team (and holgate in the side) before we kicked off I would have taken it then.

Need a bit of objectivity - we are a terrible football team but so are quite a few others.

The premier league is full of dross, and we are near the bottom of it - if we don’t get out of this self inflicted mess it’s on Jo one else but the owner, board and players (not the fans before anyone starts!)

Away fans my motm again btw - if the players could match them we would win the lot.
Make no mistake about it this was a good weekend overall.

Only one team from the other 4 down there did better than us.

If we do that over the next 6 games - with our better players coming back - we'll be ok.

We couldn't beat Fulham at home, that could very well come back to haunt us in the end. I'm kind of mentally preparing myself for relegation, but i'm still hoping for the best.

We signed no one in January, we kept Lampard on too long. Let's just be realistic here and acknowledge that it's not looking good, and we deserve relegation due to our own stupidity.

Need to stick with it, been a difficult period without The Duke, Onana and Seamus - last two performences have been poor we are badly missing those players, particularly in the middle - we have more but we need those players back.

It’s going to be tight, wel be trading blows week to week, but need to stick with it, the team need it.

Here's where we are in reality: we just whittled down our gap to Leeds from 2 points to 1. And if they cant beat Leicester at home on Tuesday they'll be well beaten away at B'mouth and City.

We have three fixtures to get on top of that lot if Leicester hold them or beat them...and that's why today's point was so important.

If they come back in and stay in we stay up. From what I gather they'll be available for Newcastle (Doucoure obviously).

We could really do with West Ham continuing to crawl to safety. Their last two games…..

They’ve been huge misses, we haven’t got a foothold in the middle since The Duke was suspended, worse again last week and this without Onana. If we have them back we can begin to get control in games.

Both last week and this Fulham and CP targeted our right full and made hay.

Our performances have tanked without the three. We’ve actually missed Iwobi as part of the defensive structure covering overlaps on the flank, since he’s gone back into the centre.

It’s us Vs Leeds IMO.
