They have won one more game and have a single point more over the season.

Since both teams appointed their current managers they have scored more than we have.

They’ve also conceded more, and have put less points on the board.

But by your logic that is better.

I forgot the season resets when you appoint a new manager.

You know it is actually possible to have a certain outlook one week and then have a slightly different outlook the next week depending on how positive or negative the result (and opponents results) are….No one’s logic is any more sound than someone else’s (even though certain posters like to mock) because the results can be inconsistent especially at this time of the season. There are certain posters on here who have been resolute / consistent in their outlook regardless of what recent results tell them which I find odd. The truth of the matter is this….no one knows - it’s all just opinion

Keep out pointing as many of the teams around us, we get safe. Simples.

Got more than Leeds and Forest today, at a flying palace, with 3 first teamers missing and a half fit DCL.

Not even close to being over this - a little run like palace have just had before the toffees turned up would be splendid right now.

Still in our hands.

It was a very good result taken in isolation like that. There are some thiugh who'd just masure it agianst a Leicester win. I'd say they were glass half empty types if I were feeling generous...but I'm not..

Our form under Dyche so far would have us getting 41 points in a full season, so we wouldn’t be back there.

With our squad plus a half decent Dyche type striker we would be comfortably mid table imo.

“Our squad” is absolutely horrific. Our best full-back should have probably retired 2 seasons ago, Michael Keane is currently a starting centre half, we don’t have one midfielder who consistently contributes goals or assists, our starting wingers are Dwight McNeil and Demarai Gray.. we seem to have 2 goalkeepers on the bench most week, it’s a terrible, terrible Premier league squad.

And despite that, we have 13 points from 12 games.

If we had started with Onana and Doucoure today I feel we’d have won the game.

Can’t look at other teams or results when we’re playing - just who we are playing against.

If you would have said we would play ok and get a point without Coleman, Doucure and Onana in the team (and holgate in the side) before we kicked off I would have taken it then.

Need a bit of objectivity - we are a terrible football team but so are quite a few others.

The premier league is full of dross, and we are near the bottom of it - if we don’t get out of this self inflicted mess it’s on Jo one else but the owner, board and players (not the fans before anyone starts!)

Away fans my motm again btw - if the players could match them we would win the lot.

No, the point I was making was that Leeds can concede multiple times and still get something from the game. They have done that on 6 occasions. We have done it twice (Forest and Chelsea).

If we concede 3, we lose 100% of the time.
If we concede 2, we lose 90% of the time.
If we concede at all, we fail to win 80% of the time.
If we concede 1st, we lose 50% of the time.
Leeds have just conceded 13 in 3 games, 18 in the month, in that same 3 game period we’ve conceded 5, across any one month this season in the league the most we’ve conceded is 8
