Not even shocked by the reaction in here is not over at all, i am going step back from posting in here. Some here just want to be negative and get a reaction, yea is not great back in the bottom 3 but gained a point on other team is alot more points to go. I will keep thinking that we can stay up and with players to return i believe we can perform better
Don't let others 'Doom' get you down m8, And certainly don't leave a thread cos of it. The club needs your optimism. And I for one hope your the one smiling come the end of it....

If tomorrow was the last day of the season (table as is) how would everyone feel about our chances?

Everton (H) vs Bournemouth
Leeds (H) vs Spurs
West Ham (H) vs Leicester
Crystal Palace (H) vs Forest

Make no mistake about it this was a good weekend overall.

Only one team from the other 4 down there did better than us.

If we do that over the next 6 games - with our better players coming back - we'll be ok.
It was, only problem is it's not sustainable. One or more of those teams is inevitably going to get a few wins and given our current problem scoring I'm not confident with any of our remaining games.

Doucs had just come into some proper form, Goals and assists.
Coleman - he will drag us over the line on his own if has to.
Onana - Well he owes us a some good performances now, so it's time to collect on them.
DCL - Show us you can still cut it.

Fans need hope to give them a reason to believe, above is our best chance of that hope paying off....
To be fair the fans turned up yesterday. Plenty of belief outside of this thread !

A lot of people seem to think it’ll come to the last day vs. Bournemouth

I’d say that game is our only likely shot at 3 points for the remainder of the season

My feeling is we’ll be on 31 points entering that game and relegated already

Newcastle 1
Leicester 1
Brighton 0
City 0
Wolves 1

Im not worried yet.
Lets see how we go vs Leicester before the panic buttons are l

Well i was slightly concerned on the opening day of the season when we couldnt even select a recognised forward.

I was very worried at the end of january when the club unbelievably let the whole of the window go and not bring in any options for the obvious relegation push.

Im now more accepting its likely to happen. If you cant score you cant win games. Simple logic of football for 150 odd years.

Long term reasons obviously but for this season alone Its all the clubs doing. Not getting rid of lampard early enough and putting all your eggs in the calvert lewin availability basket. those are the two main reasons we're now well past the tiltering on the cliff edge stage.

Hate to harp on about it but we have been declining for years because of the board.

the shoite buy Mane we buy Bolaise.
The shoite buy Salah we buy Siggi.
We don’t think Robertson is good enough!
We spend all summer chasing a centre half from a RELEGATED club in a one team chase and allow a young centre half to go out on loan having already been blooded in the premiership.
We haven’t bought a forward to replace Lukaku!

The list is endless.

we have failed to cash in on [Poor language removed] players such as when clubs were enquiring such as Holgate, Davies.

The only thing this board has done well recently is getting the youth players into championship teams for experience for next season.

We will go down, we will sell Pickford on the cheap (if he was a Klopp player he would go for £50 mill, we will let him go to Spuds for £20/30).

We are just fortunate that we are not a team of stars that the real premiership clubs will rob of their talent.

Press the reset button, clear out the board and start in our new stadium in the premiership.

Rant over, now to analyse MOTD a realise we really are that [Poor language removed]!

Based on… what?!
I said weeks ago every team in the run in will have surprising results, both positive and negative. Sure, we haven't had too many surprising wins in recent weeks but it's not gonna be the most surprising of results that we can win one(or even both) of these games at home. I'll be more optimistic with something like a full strength team.
