Everyone auto seems to be writing off Forest v Brighton and just forgetting about them, but they were very unlucky not to take at least a point at Liverpool - but they could pull of a win no one thinks as Brighton could be on a downer

It's a very tough turnaround for Brighton. Man. United have until Thursday evening to recover, Brighton have to travel up to Nottingham and when you look at their bench it's not like they change change much, Welbeck also limped off so doubt he'll be available.

I get the feeling with Cooper's selection at Anfield and putting Brennan Johnson on bench they're going all in for a win so will come out flying first 20 minutes. They did draw 0-0 at Brighton in October.

A win tonight for Leeds IMO is much more of a blow to us than Leicester getting a result. Leicester have some winnable games left and more likely to stay up.

Leeds have a tough run in but you'd still fancy them to pull out a result or two such as v spurs at home, but leeds look more likely to go down than Leicester.

Leeds win tonight would be a disaster.

Surely there must be plenty of Villa forums for “fans” like you to go and rather than come on here and tell us which threads should and shouldn’t be closed? Is this the only thread you post in, or are there any others that you would like closed as well?
Would you even be posting on here if Everton were sat above Villa at the moment?

Weird isn’t it, the obsession of a Villa “fan” (?) posting on an Everton forum in the relegation thread! Yet apparently doesn’t share the benefit of his relegation expertise and knowledge with the forums of Leeds, Leicester, Forest and Southampton!

It’s bizarre, wonder if they sat they sit there condescendingly typing away while wearing their half and half scarves?
Cannot get my head around it at all!
Maybe it is just a little too much for you to understand that someone may like more than one football team

Just don't want Leeds winning, a draw wouldnt be a disaster - I feel like Leeds are a lot more likely to go than Leicester. Think i'd prefer Leicester to win the game, and Leeds to continue their slump, and then ideally we win thursday, taking some pressure off the leicester game

Just find it a bit weird the obsession of a “fan” of another club who posts 90% of the time in the Everton relegation thread, with the majority of their other posts being in the FFP thread, at the moment two of the most depressing threads on the forum!
Surely there’s a Villa forum that would benefit from your wisdom and give you far more happiness in life? Has Unai Emery (who’s doing a good job there btw) not got a thread anywhere or have you suggested that be closed as well?
I’d imagine Southampton, Forest and Leeds have also got some interesting threads you could have a read of?

Everton's biggest game of the season tonight.

Following this, Leeds have Bournemouth A, City A and Newcastle H as their next three, whereas Leicester have Everton H, Fulham A, and Liverpool H. You have to imagine a maximum of 2 points for Leeds and possibly 4 for Leicester.

So I expect us to lose against Newcastle and Leicester, and almost certainly against both Brighton and City. Perhaps a maximum of 2 points from those 4 games for us.

With all that in mind, I have to say I think it's best if Leicester win tonight, and the fight to go down is simply between Leeds or us.

Feeling quite relaxed about the Leeds v Leicester game tonight because I can’t decide what result we want. Normally in this situation you would want a draw but given the proximity to the end of the season and that we are behind both teams with little confidence of winning games it feels like we probably need one of these two teams two teams to lose

If we lose the next 4 it is irrelevant what happens tonight we will be going down

If you don't want to engage with me then fine, just ignore me. I am not interested in your view of me or what you think I should or shouldn't do. Maybe stop the obsession and do your own thing rather than the attempts at being condescending to me, you are just wasting your time as I couldn't give a ****.

I tend to agree. If leeds lose tonight and concede a couple of goals again then they are in big trouble.

I also think Leicester with dean smith will more than likely grind out some results. I think honeymoon period is well and truly over with leeds and Garcia and it feels like it’s getting messy. They lose tonight and apart from Bournemouth away they have a worse run in than ours. Those last 4 games are horrid.

I dont want to see Leeds win, but another possible scenario is that if Leicester lose tonight and we get something from Newcastle then the pressure is on them to beat us when we play them. And if they dont then they also play some tough games after that.

I'd like to think Leicester can beat Leeds, but as Ilve said before I dont believe in Leicester at all. I think they're a lot worse than people credit them for being. 1 win in 12 games is appalling, and should Leeds beat them and then we hold or beat them then they're in a very bad position.

I can see us going to Leicester and at least getting a draw. It's a fixture we've been in command of for a few seasons and against a much better Leicester team than this one.

I think opposition fans can add to the forum. For example give an opinion on a new signing that used to play for your club or view on an upcoming fixture. However, I would say it is etiquette to stay clear of a relegation thread which is clearly a sensitive topic where the presence of an opposition fan could easily wind people up

No idea why people believe a terrible Forest team will beat Brighton.

They'll have had a recovery day off yesterday then De Zerbi will have them pumped up looking to get a European finishing spot. They're 4 points off that now but have 3 games in hand.
