It does, provided we do our own business. We win on Thursday and we go above the loser of tonight’s game.

We likely need to finish above 1 of these 2 teams to stay in the league and it’s still in our own hands. Just.

I’m a lot less confident than I was a month ago though.

Isn't it better for them to draw and we win and go above both lol

It’s been, for quite a while, simple really - we have to better Leeds and forests results from now to seasons end to stay up - don’t do that and we’re toast.

Even thought Leicester won and we moved into the relegation zone on sat, we out pointed them both. Keep doing that and we stay up.

The Fulham result was the kicker recently - bitterly disappointing.

I hope with the regulars hopefully playing from now until the end of the season we have enough to not throw another fulham performance in our last 6.

Trying to be glass half full but it’s bloody difficult.

Think a Leicester win is our best bet.

Leicester will get more points than Leeds and us IMO.

I think our best bet is pulling Leeds back into it and hoping we can outperform Southampton and Nottingham Forest.
Yep it’s Forest and Southampton and between us and Leeds for the last spot

They “should” get more. But all season people have been backing them to pull away and yet they sit outside the relegation zone on goal difference and the same points total ans us after 32 games played.

Forest have a tendency to get results against the big teams when expectation is off. Did it a few times in the cups when in championship, beat Liverpool etc.

Since Fulham, I won't bother looking at other teams results now. I look at our own and struggle to see where we get the points we need.

I think we need a minimum 7 points to have any chance and I struggle to find them when you factor in lack of goals, and our appalling away record.

Felt/said Villa would pull away when they sacked Gerrard,

Felt/said Palace would pull away when they sacked Vieira.

Felt/said Leicester would pull away when they sacked Rodgers.

It had gone toxic at them clubs mate/players almost downing tools - the margins are so small and all 3 of those teams have squad/players that are better than the rest.

I think its why Palace went for a manager they knew their players could work with, and the same to an extent with Leicester.

Didn't you also felt/ said that Maupay would be a good signing for us ?
Just asking lol

Think our 7 points needed will be Newcastle 3 Bournemouth 3 and a point at Wolves or Leicester 🙏
