If you don't want to engage with me then fine, just ignore me. I am not interested in your view of me or what you think I should or shouldn't do. Maybe stop the obsession and do your own thing rather than the attempts at being condescending to me, you are just wasting your time as I couldn't give a ****.
Why don't you waddle off back to that hole in the Midlands then, instead of ghoulishly hanging around for our relegation or financial collapse obsessively

I dont want to see Leeds win, but another possible scenario is that if Leicester lose tonight and we get something from Newcastle then the pressure is on them to beat us when we play them. And if they dont then they also play some tough games after that.

I'd like to think Leicester can beat Leeds, but as Ilve said before I dont believe in Leicester at all. I think they're a lot worse than people credit them for being. 1 win in 12 games is appalling, and should Leeds beat them and then we hold or beat them then they're in a very bad position.

I can see us going to Leicester and at least getting a draw. It's a fixture we've been in command of for a few seasons and against a much better Leicester team than this one.
Can you imagine a scenario where we beat the barcodes tonight, Leicester lose and then we beat Leicester opening a 6 point gap. It would be as good as over. Will never happen mind

I was thinking a bit more conservativley that if Leicester lost and we got a point agianst Newcastle then we;d be above them in the table when we play them - placing a lot of pressure on them to go for the win.

We have every right to be quietly confident going to Leicester. Our form away has picked up a bit with 3 away draws, and as said our record against Leicester down at their ground has been very good in the last 6 seasons: won 4 lost 2.

I think opposition fans can add to the forum. For example give an opinion on a new signing that used to play for your club or view on an upcoming fixture. However, I would say it is etiquette to stay clear of a relegation thread which is clearly a sensitive topic where the presence of an opposition fan could easily wind people up

If people get wound up by the mere presence of an opposition fan posting then the issue is in their head.

If the poster is annoying it is incredibly easy to pop them on ignore.

Yes, we should. They are not a good team, hence why they were in free fall until they sacked Viera, yes they did look like they were on their holidays, and yes we did not make one change to try and capitalise.

Mad the way you can’t quote me, but quote others and reference a point I made.

They won 3 in a row under Hodgson, they were clearly in good form and confident. We’d lost the last two and had Onana Docuoure and Coleman out. It was never going to be easy for us to win on their turf. The fact they didn’t look as good as they had been is because we played well. I’m sure if we’d have been a shambles they could have easily run another 4 in like they did v Leeds.

You seem to have this odd view that football isn’t played between two teams.

A pedant writes. We were 12th in early January and 12th when Vieira was fired on March 24. During that time we had taken points from Liverpool, Newcastle, Brighton, Brentford and Man U. Pretty sure that isn’t “free fall.”
We did not look on our holidays beating Leicester or winning at Leeds and Southampton by an aggregate score of 9-2. Everton played well on Saturday, restricting us to few chances. A draw was a decent result for both teams on the day imo.

If these two draw and we somehow win vs Newcastle we leapfrog them both remember. A win for either of them doesn't help us.
It does, provided we do our own business. We win on Thursday and we go above the loser of tonight’s game.

We likely need to finish above 1 of these 2 teams to stay in the league and it’s still in our own hands. Just.

I’m a lot less confident than I was a month ago though.
