Agree this was the one for them. Night game at elland road is massive for them.If they did it'd also send them into a death spiral.
They had the best chance they'll have on paper to win tonight. They blew it.

I don’t have a coffee in the morning anymore. Come in here and makes me feel wired. It’s my favourite thread at the mo, by a mile.
It’ll be studied by academics for years to come and used for the management and treatment of patients, in institutions up and down the country for years.
I don't see Leeds getting any more points tbh.Leeds winning tonight would have been tough to handle.
I mean, that was their trump card in thier run in: a home game against a team below them.
I dont see them getting a more than 3 or 4 points in their remaining games.
If we can grab a couple of wins we'll get past them. If we get the first of them on Thursday then we'll really be in business.
And neither do I think Leicester are all that either.
Absolutely bottled it.Agree this was the one for them. Night game at elland road is massive for them.
A good, proper 24/7 threadIt’s my favourite thread at the mo, by a mile.

As a forum we should offer up the brains of at least 6 to be donated for medical scienceIt’s my favourite thread at the mo, by a mile.

I was going to say that actually because they dont look like a team that'll get any more points. However, the run in will throw up maybe another result for them or a couple of fighting draws or something.I don't see Leeds getting any more points tbh.
As for Leicester there is no team lost more games than them.
We can do this ....IF we keep 11 men on the pitch , don't have any brain farts & ref's don't do the usual.
Asking a lot like ....but doable.
Weirdly enough I think we have the best manager, goalkeeper and back 4 out of the bottom 5.Absolutely bottled it.
Their defecne and GK are appalling.
If we beat Newcastle I'm convinced we'll keep out in front of them.
Yeah, overall this is definitely correct. When there were 9 in the mix we could afford to hope one or two went on a run like Palace, beating other rivals. But we’re down to 5, 6 at a push. If that goes down to 4 then we’re totally at the mercy of one other team’s results and one sudden burst of form destroys us. A draw that keeps both within reach gives us insurance against that, and keeps matters more in our own hands.Because it is 2pts to rivals rather than 3
Both are 2pts closer to being caught up than if one won
That game was one of the easier fixtures for both teams
If there is one less team to catch out of two we are almost twice as likely to drop
We do. No question about that IMO.Weirdly enough I think we have the best manager, goalkeeper and back 4 out of the bottom 5.
Ignoring Leicesters comeback, that’s just like our Palace result. One of the easier games in our run ins we both didn’t win, but probably both us and Leicester sort of happy in the end to scrape a point.
Would rather have a point in the bag and better goal difference than a game in hand against Newcastle tbh.
Need 4 points from the 2 games for me or we are asking for our best form of the last 2 seasons to magically appear for the remaining games, consistently, with no defensive mistakes, no injuries, no suspensions, no VAR cock ups. Leaving too much to luck, plus needing a random uptick in form despite maximum pressure.
Being mathematically still in the race is useless if you just cant win at all, home away, or against good or poor opposition. Teams like that are what relegation was invented for.
I'm sure they were 5pts above us late in the dayLast season we dropped into the bottom 3 Burnley looked to be getting close to being safe, it all turned around at the end.
Really hoping that the players who are coming back in can make a difference and get the wins that we need.We do. No question about that IMO.
We just need invention and a goal per game to make it pay.
