Leeds winning tonight would have been tough to handle.

I mean, that was their trump card in thier run in: a home game against a team below them.

I dont see them getting a more than 3 or 4 points in their remaining games.

If we can grab a couple of wins we'll get past them. If we get the first of them on Thursday then we'll really be in business.

And neither do I think Leicester are all that either.
I don't see Leeds getting any more points tbh.

As for Leicester there is no team lost more games than them.

We can do this ....IF we keep 11 men on the pitch , don't have any brain farts & ref's don't do the usual.
Asking a lot like ....but doable.

I was going to say that actually because they dont look like a team that'll get any more points. However, the run in will throw up maybe another result for them or a couple of fighting draws or something.

It's time we came up with a big win though and do the job ourselves.

Because it is 2pts to rivals rather than 3
Both are 2pts closer to being caught up than if one won
That game was one of the easier fixtures for both teams
If there is one less team to catch out of two we are almost twice as likely to drop
Yeah, overall this is definitely correct. When there were 9 in the mix we could afford to hope one or two went on a run like Palace, beating other rivals. But we’re down to 5, 6 at a push. If that goes down to 4 then we’re totally at the mercy of one other team’s results and one sudden burst of form destroys us. A draw that keeps both within reach gives us insurance against that, and keeps matters more in our own hands.

Ignoring Leicesters comeback, that’s just like our Palace result. One of the easier games in our run ins we both didn’t win, but probably both us and Leicester sort of happy in the end to scrape a point.

Would rather have a point in the bag and better goal difference than a game in hand against Newcastle tbh.

Need 4 points from the 2 games for me or we are asking for our best form of the last 2 seasons to magically appear for the remaining games, consistently, with no defensive mistakes, no injuries, no suspensions, no VAR cock ups. Leaving too much to luck, plus needing a random uptick in form despite maximum pressure.

Being mathematically still in the race is useless if you just cant win at all, home away, or against good or poor opposition. Teams like that are what relegation was invented for.

Palace. Won three on bounce.
Leeds. Conceded 16 goals in past three matches at home.

Not sure wholly comparable.
