Leeds winning tonight would have been tough to handle.

I mean, that was their trump card in thier run in: a home game against a team below them.

I dont see them getting a more than 3 or 4 points in their remaining games.

If we can grab a couple of wins we'll get past them. If we get the first of them on Thursday then we'll really be in business.

And neither do I think Leicester are all that either.

dave shurrup till the seasons ended mate lol

right i’m off to bed.

we can’t rely on others if we’re staying up we have to do it ourselves

im
of to go do my prayers good night blues x
Yep correct, we have to win our home games and I think at least one away game. One game at a time but a win on Thursday would be massive and something to try and build on.

No ones mentioning goal difference much tonight, only points. We are worse than Leeds and Leicester. Not saying probably but possibly could let a fair few in, with no goals for againt N,castle and City.
We’re only one goal difference and then behind on goals scored so make that two goals worse than Leeds who I think have the worse fixtures so if we do enough to make up the points, chances are we’ve made up the goals

Just need them not to sack this manager and get any type of new manager bounce

Ignoring Leicesters comeback, that’s just like our Palace result. One of the easier games in our run ins we both didn’t win, but probably both us and Leicester sort of happy in the end to scrape a point.

Would rather have a point in the bag and better goal difference than a game in hand against Newcastle tbh.

Need 4 points from the 2 games for me or we are asking for our best form of the last 2 seasons to magically appear for the remaining games, consistently, with no defensive mistakes, no injuries, no suspensions, no VAR cock ups. Leaving too much to luck, plus needing a random uptick in form despite maximum pressure.

Being mathematically still in the race is useless if you just cant win at all, home away, or against good or poor opposition. Teams like that are what relegation was invented for.

The staggering thing about it is that some of the people who post in it are actually functioning adults in the real world . Its actually frightening when you consider it !

It’s my favourite thread at the mo, by a mile.

It’ll be studied by academics for years to come and used for the management and treatment of patients, in institutions up and down the country for years.
