That was a great result for Everton tonight, now we need to beat Newcastle.............................................
Tbh, I'd have prefered Leeds getting nothing, but that was better than the way it was shaping up with 10 minutes to go.

A win in the next game completely transforms the dynamic between us, Leicester and Leeds.

If we got it I'd definitley believe we'll get safe. A draw keeps us very much still in there fighting. But 3 points launches us to being favourites to get out of it.

We just have to win a game eventually…other teams are bound to pick up the odd win/points.

A win against Newcastle would just be an enormous lift for everyone, put us above leeds and Leicester, back within striking distance of Bournemouth.

Let’s hope goodison still has a bit of magic left in it. Have to start quick, somehow nick a goal and defend for their lives.

Not turning up against Fulham means we have to win one of these next two home games imo. This is the easiest one.

As long as we do the business on Thursday night then the result today is very good for us

Leeds would probably need to beat Bournemouth or West Ham away to stay up as they are not getting anything against Man City and will very unlikely get a win against either Newcastle or spurs at home

Spurs are shocking. Leeds could beat them.

Leeds winning tonight would have been tough to handle.

I mean, that was their trump card in thier run in: a home game against a team below them.

I dont see them getting a more than 3 or 4 points in their remaining games.

If we can grab a couple of wins we'll get past them. If we get the first of them on Thursday then we'll really be in business.

And neither do I think Leicester are all that either.

There’ll be surprise results on the way but if Bournemouth can avoid defeat against Leeds then it really does start looking difficult to make a case for them staying up, they’d need some shock results.

I’m not convinced Leicester will get themselves out of trouble either. If we avoid defeat against them then they’re going to have to play very well against some good teams to get the points needed.

4 points from our next two would put us in a strong position to stay up in my view.

It's glaringly obvious that his and Doucoure's presence is missed.

How?

We do not dominate midfield with them and we don’t without them. Onana barely touches the ball in some games. Fans will be disappointed if they expect him or Doucoure coming back to transform the team.

Garner was man of the match against Crystal Palace, I would not drop him for either of them.
