OK, Everton fan fiction time:

1) Arsenal runs away with the PL, so Man City focuses on Champions League, and rests their best players against Everton between their 2 Real Madrid games.
2) Man City qualifies for the CL championship game (which occurs after the PL season ends), so England potentially gets a 5th CL team next year.
3) Tottenham and Aston Villa are still battling for the potential 5th CL spot on the last game of the season, so Tottenham must play their A-game against Leeds that day.

So basically we're all cheering for Arsenal against Man City tomorrow, or something.

If Arteta wins the PL with Arsenal is there an add on to the Arteta fee that disappeared 😂

Funny how people are forgetting Southampton and forest.

If soton win Thursday which is probable, they'll be a point behind with the easiest run in of the bottom 5.

I'm concerned about soton.
With a poorer goal difference 34 is the absolute minimum required to survive (more likely to be 35/36). To get to 34 they would need 3 wins and a draw. Their 6 games include Brighton, Liverpool and Newcastle. They might end up above of is we implode but they are not surviving

On what planet is it probable that Saints beat Bournemouth?

Saints two wins in 12.
Bournemouth five wins in 10.

I mean they may well win but let's not talk rubbish eh.

I think if Forest and/or Southampton finish above us, we would come 19th or 20th. I can’t see either of them overtaking us and Leeds/Leicester as well which is the only way it would have a real effect.

Doucoure and Onana get better the longer they are out of the side. Same as DCL. Fans are desperate for a saviour and I understand but those two are not good players.

We are limited on quality in the middle so one will have to play but both Onana and Doucoure lose the ball too often in key areas. And neither are good enough defensively. I would not drop Garner for either of them.
I think Doucoure is garbage, but having him chase pigeons in the final third seems to be the most effective way of turning percentage balls into chances, and that's the only way we're getting anywhere under Dyche.

The concern for me is that I doubt it'll be too difficult for plan for once other teams get wise to it.

I also wouldn't be averse to keeping Garner in rather than bringing back Onana, but I can't see it happening.
