Seamus being out is pretty much a large part of the reason, we got nothing from Fulham or Newcastle, everything came down that right side - its a very good point mate.
You have to be kidding me?It may have been in terms of conceding the goals and contributing to a lack of defensive stability but doesn’t explain away our inability to be creative, to fashion chances, to score goals to win games.
I appreciate your point there but it does give the attack more balance, so it may help once or twice a match, it just the rest of the teams inability to create chance from that area as well as other areas. At one point we seemed to be crafting more chances from set pieces but even that seems to have disappeared.TBF Seamus gives you an overload and a bit of penetration and allows the winger to come inside, Godfrey im really disappointed in - i suspect hes in for size and pace, particularly to break a line or create an overload - neither of which hes used or done well in the chance hes been given. Been very disappointed in him and id be one of his biggest backers on here.
No I’m not - why?You have to be kidding me?
We should be 'toast'. The fact we aren't and that there still remains a path out of this is the worry for both Leeds and Forest who dont even look capable of denying us a final day shot at redemption...and that goes for Leicester too if they dont dispatch us tomorrow night.Honestly think we're toast.
Coleman has scored and been crucial to attacking plans since Dyche tipped up.No I’m not - why?
If Doucoure and Coleman had remained suspension free / fit we'd have at least another couple of points.
Ok, they're gone. But the others have their worries now with Iheanacho out for Leicester, Danilo for Forest and possbly Johnson, Sinisterra for Leeds.
I think it’s us and Leeds going down with SouthamptonI don’t think we can underestimate how important the Leeds game today is to our survival. We desperately need them to not win.
Makes sense - a guy whose stock was not particularly high, had been out of work for nearly a year and would probably crawled on broken glass to get the job, which at that time was at most, at the same or less risk of relegation than it is now (just by virtue of the amount of games we still had to play)
