Seamus being out is pretty much a large part of the reason, we got nothing from Fulham or Newcastle, everything came down that right side - its a very good point mate.

If Doucoure and Coleman had remained suspension free / fit we'd have at least another couple of points.

Ok, they're gone. But the others have their worries now with Iheanacho out for Leicester, Danilo for Forest and possbly Johnson, Sinisterra for Leeds.

TBF Seamus gives you an overload and a bit of penetration and allows the winger to come inside, Godfrey im really disappointed in - i suspect hes in for size and pace, particularly to break a line or create an overload - neither of which hes used or done well in the chance hes been given. Been very disappointed in him and id be one of his biggest backers on here.
I appreciate your point there but it does give the attack more balance, so it may help once or twice a match, it just the rest of the teams inability to create chance from that area as well as other areas. At one point we seemed to be crafting more chances from set pieces but even that seems to have disappeared.

Honestly think we're toast.
We should be 'toast'. The fact we aren't and that there still remains a path out of this is the worry for both Leeds and Forest who dont even look capable of denying us a final day shot at redemption...and that goes for Leicester too if they dont dispatch us tomorrow night.

You're going to inevitably pick up injuries and suspensions, but i think their missing has been felt and exposed the paper thinness of this squad - its mad how influential they have been second half of the season -when you think that they didn't start until Dyche came in - where would we be if they had of ..... in the first half of the season....anecdotally they were part of the team that brought home points in the run last year - you'd have to think they would have influenced the first half of this season more and we may have got more results.

Im wholly on board with that mate, we have 0 creativity in the squad amate. Seamus is 34 now, he has limits - but is still our best balanced defensive and offensive full back, its criminal that we are actually still looking to him and missing him when out, he will get you up the pitch and he will prompt and support the play, often leading by example, his leadership goes without question really and we need characters and leaders in this team to where we need to go in the next few weeks - he sets the tone - look at the change in the performance levels since hes been out of the team.
