….it’s human nature that people react differently. I notice many posters coming up with scenario’s where we’ll escape the drop & others thinking it’s a done deal. There’s no right or wrong reaction to this, I actually think our fans have been amazing these past few seasons.
Spot on Eggs, people can feel however they want to be able to deal with all this.

We’ve put up with so much as supporters and in the main the fans have been incredible, deserving of so much better from the owner, chairman, board and players.

Time is running out for those players to start repaying us - they need to start tonight.

Some have been, others haven't.

There are people on here who revel in tormenting others with dire projections and forecasts.

As far as I'm concerned that's sick and they dont support this club. I for one dont view them as Evertonians and never will again.

They do. But they ones posting we are down every time one of the bottom 6 gets a corner are a bit much do you not think. The amount of over reactive posts on here the last 6 months ain't doing any one any good. We all know we are in trouble. But we are NOT relegated yet . But to read here we have been at least 50 times a day .

Posters who were “over reacting” 18-24 months ago, who prophecied this, are still “over reacting” now.

Leicester's games against Fulham and Wham are critical IMO. They win one of those we are in trouble, assuming they get nothing from their games against LFC and NUFC.

I reckon it might be between us and Leicester for the 3rd relegation spot, with Soton and Leeds making up the other 2.

As supporters we have little time to reflect on the people that will lose their jobs if we get relegated... Families that will lose their income because of this inept board.

The Esk tweeted some numbers today :-

Villa in 2016 lost 122 staff (35%)
Fulham in 2021 lost 66 staff (24%)
Sunderland in 2017 lost 47 staff (13%)

Given our finances, how many staff will be made redundant IF we go down? Relegation may be bad for the club and us as supporters but will be even more catastrophic for those who will lose their jobs off the back of this.

Dyche eluded to this in his presser....
It would be beyond heartbreaking really. Devastating for our city and the wider Merseyside area. At a time when our local economy needs all the help it can get.

We simply can't afford to be relegated. We are 2003 Leeds on steroids.

I don't think we'll be relegated, but if we are relegated it will be far more than the prestige of our great club that will be destroyed.

It just doesn't bear thinking about that.

After Bournmouth Lampard had exactly the same record that Dyche does now...
It’s always the difficulty in expecting different results, when we are one player lighter in an attacking sense in the squad (having sold Gordon), post January and replacing a very limited manager with a similarly limited manager to manage the same group of seriously limited players

It'll be Thelwell and the 1,564 imaginary positions he decided to fill who are punted first.
