Hi Lads, first time poster and 50 years West Ham fan . Just wanted to clarify (from experience of watching Moyes thru our European games).......what he will do on Sunday against Leeds. Take it from me, regardless of the result on Thursday night v AZ, he will play an extremely strong team v Leeds. If not his absolute strongest. It will be nothing like the one v Brentford. .....And to add to this, also a bit of positivity that you will not know about. The last home game of EVERY West Ham season is seen as a celebration, a big event ....so much so that in our last 24 (last home games of the season)...we have only ever lost 3. And just to point out that since Leeds got promoted to the PL , West Ham have really had their number.....Only losing once home or away. They are a team we really like to play....and the Allardyce style will actually help us, we also hate Allardyce too. But essentially the team picked will be very, very strong.....what I can't account for is the teams state of mind after Thurs......A win on Thurs will make Sunday a big celebration......and Leeds won't handle that. So, all the best and don't worry, we will try. Moyes does still like and admire Everton. And just to add, Moyes biggest success this season at WHU has been beating teams in and around us. His record in such games is excellent. Cheers all...and thanks for reading.
Welcome mate and thanks for putting to bed the daft comments that have been made on here recently saying that Moyes will throw the match. Just as if.

Good luck on Thursday bud. ;)

Wouldn't be surprised if Leeds do Spurs to be honest, they've been awful recently, especially away from home.
Shame that wasn't an away game, as could be Kane's final game for them.

You would expect Arsenal could give Forest a proper hiding after blowing there league chances.

Leicester, you just never know.
Hopefully a Newcastle night game just does any belief left in for them.

Still we got to forget about possibilities elsewhere as a team and just do it ourselves. 🙏

Fans going to Wolves game, sing like you've never sung b4 and carry the lads over the line if you have too

They've played Villa, Liverpool and Newcastle away of late. They lost heavily to Newcastle but only lost by the odd goal in the other two.

Leeds are very much a step down in class from that.

People are hyping up Leeds because of Allaerdyce (1 point frpom 4 btw), but I see a terrible team that'll be lucky to pick up another point.

IMO Leeds and Forest wont win another game. If we get a win that'll be it.

The reality is that both of them play much better teams than they are. So them not getting a point, never mind 1 or 2 more points, is the most likely outcome.

Same with us and Forest.

I still believe there's a strong chance that there will not be another point for any of us down there. And if there are more points they';ll be draws rather than wins. Any team that gets a win from their last two games - certainly Leeds, Everton or Forest - will more than likely stay up.
It may very well be the most likely outcome. But that's doesn't mean it's 90% likely. It just means that of all the probabilities, them getting 1 or 2 points might be 60% the most likely outcome.

That leaves a pretty large probability of getting 3 points or more. Or said another way, I don't get warm fuzzies that them getting 3 or points is completely off the table.

Nice post and hope you’re right, we had a good team under Moyes, and I’m sure he won’t let them down tools, good luck for Thursday also. Have been to both Upton Park and your new ground, much preferred Upton Park as I’m sure you probably do, had a decent pint after the game in the Boleyn, West Ham fans all friendly enough, all the best.

Allardyce has only had 2 games tbf.

You've said this a couple of times. Do you mean 1 point from 6 or are you predicting that he'll end up with 1 point from his 4 matches?

I think its also worth noting that Leeds sacked their manager with 4 games left because they were so awful.

Sam Guardiola's record in his most recent time in the Premier League that unsurprisingly ended up in relegation. 4 wins out of 25 ffs. We are talking Lampard territory. The fella they sacked had a better record than him. But Leeds will be boss now.

Spurs have taken a couple of high profile batterings but there’s evidence they’re working for Mason and as a popular guy will want to give him (and Kane) a good send off.

More importantly, they are now tied on points with Villa for 7th with only two goals difference between the two. So that guarantees they will be neither mathematically certain to get or certain to not get 7th- they’ll have something to play for.

The Conference might not have been their aim, but failure to get any European football will be a disastrous season, in terms of pride and also the lost revenue from a series of European nights. Spurs are inconsistent but at their best much better than Leeds, and they won’t be holding anything back on the final day.

Nobody is hyping up leeds. Its more a response to the prediction kings who post things like they are finished and wont get another point. Possibly the same who said 6 weeks ago bournemouth wouldnt get another win. Or forest wont get any more points.....

There's more than likely a lot of life in this yet.
