Nobody is hyping up leeds. Its more a response to the prediction kings who post things like they are finished and wont get another point. Possibly the same who said 6 weeks ago bournemouth wouldnt get another win. Or forest wont get any more points.....

There's more than likely a lot of life in this yet.

Plenty of people said Leeds would be well safe because they had goals in them and play murderball.

Hi Lads, first time poster and 50 years West Ham fan . Just wanted to clarify (from experience of watching Moyes thru our European games).......what he will do on Sunday against Leeds. Take it from me, regardless of the result on Thursday night v AZ, he will play an extremely strong team v Leeds. If not his absolute strongest. It will be nothing like the one v Brentford. .....And to add to this, also a bit of positivity that you will not know about. The last home game of EVERY West Ham season is seen as a celebration, a big event ....so much so that in our last 24 (last home games of the season)...we have only ever lost 3. And just to point out that since Leeds got promoted to the PL , West Ham have really had their number.....Only losing once home or away. They are a team we really like to play....and the Allardyce style will actually help us, we also hate Allardyce too. But essentially the team picked will be very, very strong.....what I can't account for is the teams state of mind after Thurs......A win on Thurs will make Sunday a big celebration......and Leeds won't handle that. So, all the best and don't worry, we will try. Moyes does still like and admire Everton. And just to add, Moyes biggest success this season at WHU has been beating teams in and around us. His record in such games is excellent. Cheers all...and thanks for reading.

Hi mate,

Just wanted to let you onow that you’ve managed to boil all Leeds fans urine on this, as apparently they (like me) are lurking on our forum.

Good luck on Thursday, and very, very envious of your European adventure.

Win on two straight Sundays and you may well have the whole of Merseyside cheering.

I really wanted the RS last night to really ram it home against Leicester in the hope of totally demoralising them. Another couple of goals would have seen the Foxes down and out, but that deliberate miss by Salad towards the end spoiled it for me.

Yeah…we’re as good as safe now
Ooof. I like the confidence. I can’t get there yet. We have two games left against teams that, over the season, have factually accumulated more points than us. We can’t really be considered favourites to win them. Wolves great at home, Bournmouth annihilated us twice in a week etc etc. Huge, Champions League level pressure on our lot too.

Our rivals also all play teams above them. I’m not a believer in teams being on the beach. Just isn’t true any more. Lots to play for; last home game, players wanting contract extensions or a move, goal and win bonuses, prize money for league placement, manager fancying the Brighton job when their boss gets a big move. Every player apart from those at probably 4 teams in the world are looking to move to a better team. But West Ham have a real, genuine, justifiable reason to not give a toss about their last 2 matches. That, along with Dom and our lack of left back are making my hole twitch. 😬
