It's their choice and their right I suppose, but I cant get my head around the people who say they'll walk out on the final whistle, apparently wanting to drum up some mass flounce.

We've been in two relegation threatened seasons on the bounce. Do some people believe we have the right not to be involved in those?

I get that it would be a statement against the poor governance of the club, but this is football at the very top level. There's no certainties even if you are well governed.

Other clubs face this a lot. We've been very fortunate to only have had to face 4 such seasons in the last 70.

Maybe remember that before flouncing...and saying that's what you'll do undermines the effort before the game too.
Nobody sane has enjoyed this season. If we stay up, the only thing to celebrate is the relief that it's over. These players have been a disgrace to the shirt. The board is beyond contempt. Anybody joyously invading pitches at the end of this is an accomplice to a repeat next season.

1994 was understandable. 1998, less so. Last year was an embarrassment, a celebration of abject mediocrity and the frenzied onanistic cult-driven anointment of Fraudulent Frank on his ascension to false god status.

This year? Give Sean Dyche a clap. The rest should be immediately transfer listed - not appreciated.

I'll be honest, I have an awful feeling about Sunday, but I've felt this season would be the one that finally caught up with this board and owner from the very start. I really hope I'm wrong and everyone I've depressed with my negativity can laugh in my face and do a 'I told you so' dance.

We are in the best position of course, but it could present some difficulties.

Imagine there is ten minutes left and all games are level. Leeds and Leicester will be going all out for the win but what do we do? We’ll be stuck a bit in no man’s land knowing a draw negates a Leeds winner but not a Leicester one.

If we had West Ham on Sunday how many on here would be backing a win for us? Yet Leicester have them but they’re more likely to beat them than we are Bournemouth?
We’d still be sweating if we were playing Southampton. We’ve got no striker and a knackered defence.

Ah yeah it's a shame we had no other defenders that he replaced specifically to play his favourite boy Keane, who cost us points.

Coady, Mina et al, stopped existing I see.
When Dyche came in he had to adapt defenders and defensive MFs to also go looking for goals. He achived that and we've scored 18 in 17 games since he got here.

Keane, Tarkowski, Mina have been goal scorers and goal providers as well as being defenders.

He succeeded there, he didnl't fail. It's what's kept us out of the bottom 3 with one game to go.

Do you suggest we celebrate? I know many will because of the emotion they carry for the club.

Of course their are no certainties we have to earn the right to be in the PL, we are not in this mess because we have been assembling a squad on a shoestring budget, then our current position could be excused but its not, its down to the running of the club as we all know.

We have all gone far too long deprived of anything that resembles success, its not acceptable!

Just read around the forum of what we all dream of over the last decade CL football, Top 6 ,Top 10, consolidate 12th, '"i would bite ye hand off for 17th next season" None of that is success if we achieved any of the above.

We have a generation of supporter's who only know us as middle of the road nothing PL club and they spend their hard earned cash following this club the length and breadth of the country.

We should absolutely walk out after the game when the fans have done their part.
What have they given us to merit a celebration, underperformed at every level of the club from board level to the pitch.

Boo them off after safety is confirmed.
Erm yes, I do actually. It'll be no mean feat what that manager will have done if we get safe.

The whiff of expectation and sound of feet stamping is unbelievable here.

So what we had to face another season of fighting for our PL lives? We dont get to be top half by right.
