Everton have only won 10 out of their last 50 Premier League matches which stretches back to October 2021. In that period they’ve only gained 40 points. 40 points from the last 50 league games tells you all you need to know about the lack of quality in the squad.

We’ve been on the decline ever since Moshiri arrived, it was slow at first but we’re now rapidly heading towards the Championship and I’m not even sure a change of manager will save us this time.

Lampard should have gone after the Bournemouth games, but even if he had done you’d still be relying on the owner making a sensible appointment to give us even a glimmer of hope.

Can’t see us staying up. We are done imo and probably finishing bottom on 25 points.

As for our players I think some are going to be in for a bit of a shock come the summer. They probably think they will just get an easy move to another Prem side. I can only see three or four actually attracting some interests from premier league teams.

The rest are bang average and will be playing Championship football much to their surprise no doubt.

Being paid top end Prem wages for their trouble too.
Those lads after the game asking Mina if he’d stay if we’re relegated……. I bloody hope not.

His contracts up and no doubt already has his next club lined up. Probably in Italy. The likes of Holgate, Keane, Iwobi, Gana and a few others we will be stuck with. Much to their annoyance as well as ours as they probably think they are too good for the Championship. I beg to differ.

The fans can only drag this team so far. We got it over the line last year thanks to the fans and the fact we had a talisman on the pitch. We now have no talisman and a worse squad which has been getting worse over the course of several years now. The quality just isn't there and eventually, that catches up with you.

Regardless of if we go down or not, I’d want the entire bunch of forwards binning in the summer. DCL, Gordon, Gray, Iwobi, McNeil, Townsend. Not one of them is even good enough for a promotion push.

Bournemouth have apparently lost 10 out of their last 12 games. Their only 2 wins were against erm….

I want to remain optimistic as there’s still half a season to go, but It’s over lads and lasses….and of course non binary.

Be nice having more Friday night games and think some of our young lads will do well in the Championship. Isn't the season longer as well. More Everton for your money. No more humiliating derbies. Also food looks better in championship grounds and is cheaper. I for one welcome our demise

46 games (up to 49 potentially with playoffs), season starts a week earlier than PL but still come in at second round of EFL Cup unless we finish bottom

23 points from the final 19 fixtures would leave us at 38.

I know that would be raising our ppg from 0.83 to 1.21 but looking at the fixture list that doesn't seem unreasonable or overly optimistic. It would leave us at 1 ppg over the duration of the entire season compared to Lampard's 1.11 from last season.
Off to a good start I see. BTW, it's Newcastle.
