I am telling you now the acceptance stage of the grief cycle is a lot more pleasant. This club were making me ill last season. I am not going to let them do that to me again.

This time around there is not any real hope to cling too. The players are not good enough and we have no money to spend and all the clubs around us are strengthening. The only chance we now have is removing Frank now. We have a bit of a gap till the next game. Bring in a manager that can organise and motivate a limited group of players to play above themselves. Sell Gordon, Keane, Holgate. Use the money + loans to bring in a physical presence up front that can hold the ball up, a creative midfielder and at least one fullback and pray
Absolutely! I cried when we turned it around v palace and thought that was it for relegation battles. How wrong I was and I’m not enjoying this one bit! I feel hardened to it this year however.
As I’ve stated while we are still in this league I will always believe

Just seen the table. How tf are we still not bottom?
Never mind that, how are we not even cut adrift lol, lowest wins, lowest scorers, and yet we are still only 2 points from getting out bottom 3 (at this point). if only we could win games we could have been a mile away from bottom 3 with the amount of teams that cant seem to win this season

Because other teams had to play against good teams while we are losing to [Poor language removed] teams around us like Bournemouth, Southampton, and West Ham. Our next set of games involve games against Arsenal, Liverpool, Brentford, Tottenham, Chelsea, and Manchester United, after which we surely are cut adrift.

So when we go down, who will actually get sold and have some value? Pickford, Dom, and Onana? Maybe Gordon? Bar Pickford and Onana, championship level is where they belong, but I feel Dom and Gordon might move based on being English and reputation.
Gordon
Onana
Pickford
Dom ( someone will take a punt on a cut price deal)
Iwobi
Mina, Douc and Coleman out of contract

On the other side we will probably resign Davies and end up with Moise K back

You have missed our back to back home games against Leeds and Villa. Not that I think we will win like.

Don’t give up.

Look at Villa, Unai Emery has made such a difference.
Still lots of games and points available. The key is getting rid of Frank. We were 2 points behind Everton when we sacked Slippy and it is basically the same team. Just one addition at LB and he made his first start today as Digne is injured. The striker we bought is not for the 1st team yet

Howards Way is the answer. Ken Masters and Charles Frere to take over the board.Couple of ruthless individuals would sort Everton out. The marina development has already commenced.

What an appointment and right time to sack Gerrard. Villa may even aiming for Euro now.

Listening to Andy Gray earlier and he said something that put things into real perspective
‘To stay up Everton need 25pts, not sure if this team can get 25pts’

I went through our remaining fixtures (pragmatic approach) and I struggled to get to 25

Appreciate other teams in our position, but still frightening

I know we are screwed, but putting it this way made it more real

yes he was a good appointment but I think there are a lot of good managers out there and I think fans often forget that the PL is the most desired league to work in in the world and there are only 20 jobs as manager available. The pulling power of this league is not to be underestimated. But it was the timing that did it for Villa, sack Slippy, and have 6 weeks of preseason with the players halfway through the season. I am very surprised you and Hammers didn't do similar as it seemed such an obvious time to sack the manager if there were any doubts.
Anyway, best of luck for the rest of the season, if u dont sack Frank, I don't think any amount of luck will help though
