All we can do is get behind the lads as we did towards the end of last season and simply hope for the best.

It’ll be desperately sad for the club of Harvey, Kendall and Ball to finally slip into the abyss and do a Pompey or Sheffield Wednesday.

Can’t quite get my head around where we are right now.

Yes, the club can fall further down and could get close to administration or liquidation but there would be a queue of people happy to bail it out before it disappears. It could then be purchased for a very low amount and an investor could make a killing. Four and a half years ago Villa came within 24 hours of administration and someone stepped in and picked it up on the cheap. The big old English football clubs will always have a buyer if they look like going to the wall

So was Villa when we nearly went to the wall. The real benefit of sinking to rock bottom is that u get a complete clear out of staff and the vast majority of players. It is a rough process to go through but if u get lucky with the right owners it could be worth it. The key thing for EFC is to get the club sold and tbh, and I can't see that happening until the new stadium is built. I suspect u guys are going to be disgruntled for the next 18 months or so and only then you will be able to look forward imo.

I’m at peace with it now.

I’ll hate it and I still think it’ll devastate me even though I’m becoming more at peace with it but We absolutely could have zero complaints, it’s completely deserved on so many different levels .

We really have to make the right decisions at board level to scrape through these next 4 months. Sadly I'm devoid of any optimism. Fanbase deserve so much more.

I`d thought in the situation we were in we`d have a decent manager quickly....

But we are sat here with the window closing at 11pm on Tuesday, less than a week, with no manager and no new signings...

The writing is on the wall, pack it up lads, we`re done....
